As Disney’s latest animated film, Raya and the Last Dragon has been praised by audiences for its stunning animation and thematic impact– so you may be surprised to learn it wasn’t even made in a studio!

Several filmmakers from the movie have come together to offer us an exclusive look into how the movie was made and how they were able to put together a feature-length film from the comfort of their homes!
Recently, Disney’s Twitter account shared a clip featuring the directors, animators, and writers who were able to bring Raya and the Last Dragon to life!

Alongside filmmakers Don Hall, Carlos López Estrada, Fawn Veerasunthorn, and Amy Lawson Smeed, we were able to learn more about the animation process and what it was like to create a movie almost entirely at home.

After learning so much about how the film came to be, we can’t wait to re-watch Raya and the Last Dragon! The film is available in theaters now or you can watch it on Disney+ with Premier Access!
