There's a VIRTUAL Way to Celebrate Disney's Big Anniversaries!

This year, we not only get to celebrate one Disney Park Anniversary — we get to celebrate TWO!

Disney California Adventure has already kicked off the 20th-anniversary celebrations with new merchandise and a limited-time ticketed event (that has already sold out). Over on the east coast, Walt Disney World will celebrate 50 years this Fall! And, now there’s another way to celebrate and you don’t even have to leave your house for this one!

D23 will be hosting a series of virtual events to celebrate both park anniversaries, called “Magical Milestones!” The events will feature a peek into the origins of each park, behind-the-scenes stories, and artwork — all from the Disney Imagineers that had a hand in creating the parks we know and love today!

The virtual series will be kicking off on March 10th with a special look at Disney California Adventure Park! Hosted by Leslie Iwerks, you’ll learn about the beginnings of the park from Bob Weis (President of Walt Disney Imagineering), hear the whole story on the reimagining of the park, and get a sneak peek of the new Avengers Campus with the creative team behind the project.

D23 Gold Members can request one complementary access code to view the event and D23 General Members can purchase tickets for $10. The virtual event will premiere on Wednesday, March 10th at 4PM PST and the streaming will be available until March 26th at 11:45PM PST.
