It’s been just about a year since Broadway shut down due to the global health crisis.
Without theaters open, we’ve turned to our screens to watch clips from some of our favorite stage shows. Last year, Disney hosted a special streaming event in honor of Disney on Broadway’s 25th Anniversary, and one of the musicals featured will be on screen again tomorrow morning.
Early risers will be able to catch the cast from Broadway’s The Lion King on Good Morning America tomorrow, February 26th. The special performance is in celebration of Black History Month and is sure to serve up some of our favorites.
This isn’t the first time Good Morning America has featured some Disney content. Just last week, the show revealed Disney’s plans for the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary celebrations later this year. So it might actually pay to wake up earlier than you might like!
