Disney has been diversifying its entertainment by bringing original content to the screen, while also diving into past shows and movies that fans adore!

And, we’ve especially been loving the incredible documentaries available to stream on Disney+ that are both educational and entertaining (we’re still obsessed with The Imagineering Story). Next year, though, Beatles fans are going to want to tune into the streaming service since an entirely new film will be debuting soon!

Peter Jackson has detailed that he is working with Disney+ to make a music documentary based on the Beatles’ career. In a video detailing The Beatles: Get Back‘s progress, Jackson provided a “montage” of some of the 56 hours of never-seen before Beatles footage they are editing through.

The film was set to be finished by now, but was delayed due to the global health crisis. However, the feature-length film will premiere on Disney+ as well in theaters on August 27th, 2021.
