NEWS! 393,000 More Doses of the COVID-19 Vaccine Will Arrive in California Next Week

California and Florida both received their first shipments of the Pfizer vaccine today.

The vaccine was approved by the FDA just a few days ago and as of today, its distribution has begun. California was set to receive 327,600 doses of vaccine today, and Governor Gavin Newsom has shared that the state will be expecting an even larger shipment next week.

Disneyland Resort has yet to reopen, with only Downtown Disney and parts of Buena Vista Street open for shopping and dining. Its operations were further limited earlier this month when a stay-at-home order went into effect in Southern California.

Now, Governor Newsom shares that California will be receiving 393,000 more doses of the COVID-19 vaccine next week. Four major Californian cities received the vaccine today, 24 more locations will have it tomorrow, and 5 more will have access to it on Wednesday.
