There's a Lot of New National Geographic Series Coming to Disney+!

If you weren’t already excited for the next few years on Disney+, after today’s Disney Investor Day you likely are!

Along with the announcement of upcoming feature films and series, Disney also revealed a long list of National Geographic original content that will be coming to the streaming platform!

Here’s Every New National Geographic Series Announced Today!

Costeau

Produced in partnership with the Cousteau Society, the series will chronicle “the life of legendary ocean explorer Jacques Cousteau.”

Genius: Martin Luther King, Jr.

The fourth installment in the Genius collection will focus on Martin Luther King, Jr., in a series executive produced by Brian Grazer and Ron Howard.

Secrets of the Whales

Narrated by Sigourney Weaver, the series “is a visually stunning and profoundly personal natural history series over 3 years in the making” from James Cameron and explorer Brian Skerry.

A Real Bug’s Life

It’s time to look at a real Bug’s Life! The series will be “an adventure into a world beyond your imagination where life is on a completely different scale and little creatures rely on amazing powers to make it through the day.”

America the Beautiful

The series will tell the story of North America, showcasing “visually spectacular regions as seen through the eyes of its iconic species.”

Limitless with Chris Hemsworth

Actor Chris Hemsworth (we see you, Thor), will “go on a mission and find out how to stay healthier and younger for longer.”

Welcome to Earth

Welcome to Earth will be a new series from filmmaker Darren Aronofsky, which will feature actor Will Smith embarking “on an awe-inspiring journey to unlock the secrets of this planet’s most extraordinary, unexplained phenomena.”
