It’s The Walt Disney Company Investor Day so we are getting a bunch of entertainment news!

Lucasfilm announced two new Mandalorian spin-offs, Ahsoka and Rangers of the New Republic — but those are far from the only new Star Wars series coming to Disney+!

 

For starters, we finally got a name for the Rogue-One spin-off they’ve been teasing! “Andor” will begin streaming on Disney+ in 2022. You can check out the trailer here:

We also got a Vader-sized update on the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series — Hayden Christensen is reprising his role as Anakin Skywalker!

There are several NEWLY announced series as well! For starters, Star Wars: Visions will be streaming in 2021. This original show will feature Star Wars stories, told through Japanese anime-style animation.

 

Next up is Lando, which will of course, share more of the story of Lando Calrissian. We don’t know much else about the new series, other than it’s in early development with filmmaker Justin Simien.

Led by director Leslye Headland, we have a a new Star Wars mystery-thriller series to look forward to! “The Acolyte” takes places in the final days of the High Republic, and will “take viewers into a galaxy of shadowy secrets and emerging dark-side powers,” according to Disney!

 

The droids we’re always looking for are returning as well! Lucasfilm Animation has partnered with Industrial Light & Magic, their visual effects team, to bring us an all new animated series called “A Droid Story.” The show will star R2-D2 and C-3P0 as they guide a new hero on an epic adventure!

Lastly, we got a sneak peak of the previously announced show “The Bad Batch,” which is a Clone Wars spin-off coming in 2021. Check it out here!
