There seems to be a lot of leadership shake ups at Disney ahead of Disney’s Investor Day, which will heavily focus on their Direct-to-Consumer business segment.
Recently, we shared the news that Disney’s restructuring of various brands has caused major shifts in their leadership teams. Now, the Head of Unscripted at Disney+ will leave the company entirely and has moved to a competing streaming service.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dan Silver will now work at Netflix as Director of Documentary Feature Films.
Silver also served as VP of Nonfiction Originals, working on several Disney+ series including The Imagineering Story.
It was reported that Silver opted to leave Disney entirely in the midst of the reorganization taking place in Direct-To-Consumer. We will continue to keep an eye on the leadership shifts happening in the Company!
