Although we’ve been thrilled to see the new Castle of Magical Dreams in Hong Kong Disneyland for its 15th anniversary, there could be some major changes coming to the park soon.

As the current health crisis has been unpredictable, governments and businesses have been doing what they can to protect everyone during this time.
According to Hong Kong’s SCMP News, the city will be tightening many of its restrictions again during the fourth wave of the Coronavirus. Multiple new health and safety measures will begin on Wednesday, as public gatherings experience more limitations and Hong Kong’s 177,000 civil servants will be required to work from home (unless they provide emergency and essential on-site services).

Restaurants will be ending their dine-in service at 10PM instead of midnight, while guests at each table will be reduced from four to only two people. Gyms, sports venues, and beauty parlors will need to include more restrictions, like the limit of groups of two people at sports facilities. Government performance venues will only be open for rehearsals and online streaming performances.

However, larger venues including game centers, mahjong parlors, swimming pools, karaoke lounges, and theme parks will be forced to close. At this time, Hong Kong Disneyland hasn’t announced its closure, but we will be sure to keep you updated. Once the new restrictions are put in place on Wednesday, Hong Kong will be maintaining them for at least two weeks.

As more details are released on how the new restrictions will affect Hong Kong soon, we’ll be sure to give you all the details you need to know!
