Disney+ is releasing tons of new entertainment in December!

Christmas series like the LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special will debut while Marvel’s fascinating WandaVision will premiere in the same month. Last year, Disney announced a new film called Safety that will exclusively stream on Disney+.
Safety is based on the true story of a former college football player, Ray McElrathbey. McElrathbey played safety on the special teams for Clemson University. In a turn of events, Ray comes to care for his 11 year-old brother at just 19 years-old. The film will highlight Ray’s journey as he overcomes this adversity with the support of his team and community. Safety will premiere on December 11th, 2020.

Safety was filmed onsite in Clemson, South Carolina and Ray’s hometown of Atlanta, Georgia. The film is produced by Mark Ciardi who produced many Disney sports films like Miracle, Secretariat, and Million Dollar Arm. Tune into Safety in December!
