It’s definitely been a crazy year — but at least we have some exciting movie releases to look forward to!
Although many movie release dates have been pushed back, there are still a number of blockbuster films set to premiere in 2020. And with new film content in our near future, we wanted to know which movies our readers are the most excited to see!
We reached out to our Instagram followers to see which movies they’re anxiously awaiting.
‘Mulan’, ‘Black Widow’, or ‘Soul’
Starting off under the Disney umbrella, we asked our readers whether they’re most excited to see Mulan, which will premiere on Disney+ on September 4th, Black Widow, set to premiere in theaters on November 6th, Soul, set to premiere in theaters on November 20th, or none of the above!
We received a total of 9637 responses and coming in as the most popular response, we had Black Widow with 3541 votes (37%)!
The second most popular answer was Mulan, which received 3224 votes (33%). Next, we had Soul, with 1514 votes (16%). And 1358 voters (14%) said they aren’t super excited for any of these upcoming Disney projects!
But we didn’t stop there — we also wanted to see what films outside of the Disney universe our readers are looking forward to!
‘No Time to Die’, ‘West Side Story’, or ‘Wonder Woman 1984’
Next, we asked whether our followers were most excited to see No Time to Die, set to premiere on November 20th, West Side Story, set to premiere on December 18th, Wonder Woman 1984, set to premiere on October 2nd, or another film!
We received a total of 8084 responses and the superheroes reigned supreme here as well — the most popular response was Wonder Woman 1984 with 3244 votes (40%)!
Coming in at second, we had West Side Story with 2270 votes (28%). And 1369 people (17%) are looking most forward to a film we didn’t list. Rounding out the pack was No Time to Die, which received 1201 votes (15%).
While there are several major blockbusters set to debut later this year, it looks like a lot of our readers are most excited to see some superhero action!
