While we first let it go to chill with Olaf in the first Frozen movie, it’s almost been a whole year since we traveled into the unknown during Frozen 2 with the entire gang.

Although Josh Gad has been reading stories to your kiddos as well as recording new songs and scenes from home, it looks like our favorite snowman will be getting some extra screen time soon!

If you ever wondered what life was like for Olaf right after Elsa created him, Disney’s newest short “Once Upon a Snowman” will be giving fans everywhere a look at Olaf’s beginnings!

The short will tell the story of “Olaf’s first steps as he comes to life and searches for his identity in the snowy mountains outside Arendelle.” So, we’ll FINALLY get to find out why Olaf loves summer so much, what happened to Olaf after Elsa created him, and see the moments before Anna and Kristoff meet him.

You can catch “Once Upon a Snowman” when it begins streaming on October 23rd, exclusively on Disney+!
