Although Disney has started to reopen its parks, there are plenty of experiences that are still currently halted.
While Disney World and Disneyland begin to plan their upcoming reopenings, Adventures by Disney will be holding off on vacations for the time being.
Adventures by Disney has extended its suspended departures through August 31st, 2020 for the health and safety of guests. This includes the AmaWaterways river cruise sailings through Adventures by Disney to the Rhine, Rhône, Seine, and Danube Rivers, along with their Escape trips to Amsterdam, Budapest, and Paris.
Anybody that has a reservation through September 30th can change their bookings and receive a 100% credit towards a new adventure. The non-refundable credit can be used towards a new travel date or alternative adventure by March 31st, 2021.
Currently, Disney is also allowing a temporary update to cancellation policies where “new bookings made on future trips through the end of June 2020 will be subject to fully refundable deposits up until the final payment date.” A final payment extension of 30 days will automatically be added to reservations through November 30th.
Disney has stated that they will contact guests and travel agents with information and options. But, we also suggest that you reach out to your travel agent for more details as well!
These are all the cancellations and changes in Disney World that you need to know about!
