Buckle up, Star Wars fans — we’re about to go on an epic (and interactive) adventure!

While you can step into your own Star Wars story when you’re visiting Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, there’s an entirely new way to experience a galaxy far, far away coming soon.

Later this year, ILMxLAB (Lucasfilm’s entertainment studio) and Oculus Studios will be bringing Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge to life!

The virtual reality game will be set in between The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker, just like Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland and Disney World. Players will be able to set off on their own adventures as they explore Batuu, greet classic characters and meet new allies and enemies.

There will be multiple gameplay styles and difficulty settings for gamers to challenge themselves during their trip to the Black Spire Outpost. Since Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge already has a rich storyline, Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge will expand upon existing lore while taking players on brand new adventures.

ILMxLAB is also known for its Vader Immortal series that lets players go head-to-head with Darth Vader himself. We will keep you updated on the release date and more information on Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge here!
