They just announced a few more great Disney sports movies coming to ESPN!

Starting Friday, May 29th at 8PM ET, more Friday night Disney movies are headed to ESPN. The first movie set to air will make you feel the rhythm and feel the rhyme. Get on up cause it’s bobsled time with the Disney classic, Cool RunningsThis Disney sports classic is based on a true story and follows a Jamaican bobsled team who head to the Winter Olympics.

Next up, we get the film that launched a whole genre of animal based sports movies, Air Bud. Set to play on ESPN on Friday, June 5th at 8PM ET, this movie follows the (slightly outlandish?) premise of a golden retriever joining a school’s basketball team. Just remember — there is nothing in the rules that says a dog can’t play basketball!

The next few movies don’t have official air dates set, but will likely air on Fridays in the weeks after Air Bud. The next in this 90’s round-up of fantastic films is Rookie of The Year. This movie follows a 12 year old kid who breaks his arm and…well, you’ll just have to see for yourself. Just remember, there is nothing in the rules that says a kid can’t join the team!

Speaking of kids and baseball, it is the perfect time to watch Angels In The OutfieldThis one follows a kid (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) who prays for some divine assistance to help his favorite baseball team, the Angels, win and hilarity ensues.

The final Friday night Disney movie announced (for now) is The Mighty Ducks. There are few movies that capture what it was like to be a kid in the 90’s like The Mighty Ducks. The film follows a lawyer who gets stuck coaching a peewee hockey team of misfits.

We can’t wait to watch all of these on ESPN’s Friday night movies. But if you can’t quite wait, most of these can be found streaming on Disney+ right now!
