While Disney Springs has already started to reopen its stores and restaurants, including the World of Disney today, Disney Stores have also started to lay out their own re-opening guidelines.

Although Disney will be making decisions on a case by case basis for which stores will be re-opening, the Disney Stores will be taking numerous health and safety precautions.
Guests ages 2 and up will be required to wear face coverings and maintain a distance of 6 feet apart when they are in the stores. Anyone visiting should provide their own face masks. If guests cough or sneeze, they should cover their mouths and noses, and they should avoid touching their eyes, noses, and mouths.

Cast Members will also be required to wear masks at all times. They will be undergoing new training measures and health screenings before coming back to work. Cast Members will be required to conduct a health screening checklist and temperature check at home before each day. If they do not meet the checklist criteria, they will not be allowed to come into work.

The Disney Stores will be operating under limited hours, where special hours will vary. At this time, in-store events and the daily Opening Ceremonies have been postponed. The stores will have reduced occupancy to promote distancing as well.

In order to keep guests safe in the store, there will be frequent cleaning throughout the day and access to hand-sanitizer for everyone visiting and working. The Disney Stores will be moving their fixtures, furniture, and products during this time for easier store navigation.

There will be signs installed throughout the stores about social distancing. Plexiglass will also be installed at the check-out counters, and contactless payment will be accepted. There will be greeters at the store front if guests have any questions.

The product availability in the stores will vary at this time. This means that some limited edition and limited release items, including keys, will not be available in-store. As each Disney Store location is assessed, guests will be able to check online if their local store will be apart of the phased re-openings.
