While Disney Springs is back open, we have yet to hear will Downtown Disney will be welcoming guests again.
Disneyland doesn’t have reservations listed into July 1st, but Disneyland’s county will soon transition into a new phase of reopening.
This means that “in-person dining reservations, retail shopping with social distancing and curbside pickup, manufacturing, offices when telework isn’t possible, outdoor museums, and other limited services” will be allowed to take place.
According to First District Supervisor, Andrew Do, the county will “ensure that [reopening is] done in a safe manner” with “proper guidance, documentation, and safety precautions.”
The Health Care Agency has provided guidelines that businesses must follow in order to re-open including performing a detailed risk assessment, hosting employee training, implementing control measures/screening, disinfecting, and promoting physical distance.
While Disney World plans to present its proposed re-opening date next week, we will continue to keep you updated on any Downtown Disney news.
