Ever since the National Basketball Association halted its 2019-2020 season, there have been questions circulating about whether the season will continue — and if so, where?
In mid-April, a Sports Center commentator proposed Disney World as an ideal location to resume the season and other industry names responded in support of the idea. However, it seems the idea continue to inch towards reality.
Disney World is already believed to be a “front-runner” to host the remainder of the season, but Las Vegas has also been proposed as an option.
However, the Orlando Sentinel confirmed that the NBA is in talks with Disney World about the possibility of hosting the rest of the season.
NBA spokesperson, Mike Bass, clarified that the conversations are still “exploratory.” If selected, the league would use Disney World’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex for housing, practices, and games.
