The park is set to re-open starting May 11th, implementing new health and safety measures that reflect the guidance of health and government officials. One of those measures will be severely limiting capacity, and to do so, the park will be requiring dated tickets for entry.

Today, tickets for the park’s re-opening went on sale, with options for both full day and half-day dated tickets.

Prior to selecting your ticket, the site makes note that guests will be “required to register their information before visiting Shanghai Disneyland.”

When checking out, the site also makes note of the limitations and precautionary health measures that will take place upon entry, such as temperature screenings and QR code scanning.

Additionally, they note that, while the majority of rides, attractions, shows, shopping, and dining will resume operations May 11th, that “some interactive attractions and experiences, such as children play areas, and theater shows, will remain closed.” Additionally, “parades and nighttime spectaculars will also return at a later date.”

The parks’ modified experience is similar to what is being looked at for the American Disney Parks, as detailed in a letter from the Disney Parks Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Pam Hymel.
