We are just one day away from Star Wars Day!

We are already preparing to celebrate with some new collectibles from shopDisney tomorrow, but our shopping spree may be much different than normal.
ShopDisney announced that they would be using a virtual waiting room for the release of their new Star Wars merchandise on May the fourth.

The waiting room will not be available on apps, but it is designed to give you the “best chance to purchase your May 4th collectibles.”

We’ve had difficulty with collections releasing on shopDisney in the past, so we are excited to see Disney is working towards a solution!

The items are scheduled to be released on shopDisney Monday, May 4th at 10AM ET, so set your clocks and we will keep you posted with any updates!

Unfortunately there was no virtual waiting room at the start of 7am.. it was a complete free for all mayhem and website crashes and super slow loading pages to the overload of the masses on the website. Many were unable to sign into their accounts and many faced the spinning blue circle of limbo(as I myself have) during checkout only to receive an error or unable to process payment or an IP Block.. it was very frustrating for me and many others. In my opinion it was just another Disney EPIC FAIL.. once they realized the $#it hit the fan from their mistake they tried to make up a lame “virtual queue” after the majority of the items had already sold out, while the true fans were left with nothing or the left over scraps of what remained from the disastrous May 4th sale. Many were saddened, angry and frustrated on how the sale was handled. @ShopDisney needs to get it together, because this kind of disastrous sale has been goin on forever leaving us wondering if they ever listened to the cries of the ongoing sales issues and if they really truly care about the Disney fans. The Force was truly not with us on May 4th, 2020 🙁
