NEWS: Man Arrested After Breaking into Disneyland During Park Closure

As Disneyland’s closure continues indefinitely, fans are beginning to wonder just how long it will be before they are able to visit their beloved parks once again.

According to a a local news report, during the park’s closure, a young man was arrested over the weekend for breaking into Disneyland.

An 18 year-old man was arrested Sunday night for hopping the fence to gain access into Disney California Adventure. Police report the man jumped over a gate near into the backlot area of the park.

The man was found by authorities near Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout. While a motive is currently unclear, police believe his intention was to steal equipment from a construction site. He was cited for trespassing before being released.

Avengers Campus Construction

Construction has currently been halted for the new Avengers Campus, which originally had an opening date of July 18, 2020. Recently, Disney removed the opening date from their site and now say that the land is “Coming Soon.”
