Go For The Gold! Check Out the New Medals for the 2020 runDisney Virtual Series!

It’s time to stretch those legs out, because the 2020 runDisney Virtual Series events start today! If you’re not familiar with the races, the Virtual Series makes it possible for anyone to participate in a runDisney event from home (which we’re all spending a lot more time in).

Of course, just managing to do a 5K is an accomplishment in its own way, but you’ll also be able to earn some sweet commemorative medals to show off your feats. We’ve finally got our look at all the medals that you’ll be able to earn this year.

If you participate in the Mad Tea Party 5K, you’ll be awarded this tea cup medal for finishing. The cup looks like it’s about to spin right off the badge, so hold on tight!

This medal for the Space Mountain 5K looks like it’s ready to blast off into outer space.

For the more macabre racers, you’ll be able to earn this Madame Leota medal for finishing the Haunted Mansion 5K featuring the fortuneteller’s ghostly visage emblazoned on the front.

If you manage to go the distance and run the gauntlet of all three 5K events, you’ll receive this medal for the runDisney Virtual Challenge fashioned after an OG ticket booklet as well as all of the previous medals.
