Mark Hamill Thanks 'Star Wars Fans' With a Heartfelt Letter

Star Wars means a lot to a large group of people and the small indie film turned gigantic franchise made household names of the the film’s stars. Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and Mark Hamill became synonymous with Star Wars.

On Friday, April 3rd, Mark Hamill, known for his role as Luke Skywalker, posted a touching thank you letter to all the Star Wars fans. In the letter, Hamill talks about not knowing the impact that Star Wars would have on the world.

Hamill also referred to when Carrie Fisher spoke of Star Wars being about family. And that the Star Wars fan community has become a family to him. You can read the full letter below.
