THE ALL EARS DISNEY MOVIE THROWDOWN CONTINUES!

Round One of our Classic Animated Films League has wrapped up with a few surprising upsets. However, we’ve still got a few more hours to go for our Pixar League! Find out how to cast your vote below!

In the battle of the old-school power houses, the films that shaped childhoods around the world duked it out for cinematic supremacy!

Robin Hood tried to steal the crown from Cinderella, but this glass-footed diva was too quick to be outfoxed!

Meanwhile, Aladdin didn’t need to use a single wish to beat out 101 Dalmations!

Snow White put up a valiant fight, but couldn’t stand up to the ferocity of Beauty and the Beast!

While The Jungle Book couldn’t muster up the Bear Necessities to beat Lady and the Tramp!

Meanwhile, Peter Pan’s offense against The Little Mermaid didn’t fly, leaving Ariel to claim the prize.

However, our last two mascots had some unexpected upsets. In the battle between Dumbo and The Nightmare Before Christmas, the pachyderm unexpectedly flew away with the victory, taking out Nightmare in the first round!

Meanwhile, the battle between Sleeping Beauty and Pinocchio was a close one. Sleeping Beauty was infamous at launch for bringing the Disney Princess franchise to a halt for decades, while Pinocchio was acclaimed as an animated masterwork. However, the film’s modern fan base (no doubt rallied by the incomparable Maleficient) was able to sneak in the win! No amount of wishing upon a star could give this puppet the prize!

The victors will clash against each other in our Round Two match ups later this month. But the fight isn’t over!
