Snow White’s Scary Adventures is one of the most classic Disneyland rides, in fact, it opened with the park in 1955 as Snow White’s Adventures!
Earlier this year, we heard about some changes coming to this iconic ride when Disney filed a building permit to refurbish Snow White’s Scary Adventures in 2020. Now, Disney has released an official statement about those changes!
Snow White’s adventures are about to get a lot less scary! This classic dark ride is known for having a spooky ending with the death of the evil queen. It seems that with refurbishments there will be a whole new “happily ever after” scene with Snow White and the Prince!
Another aspect of the refurbishment comes in the form of a vignette depicting the princess awakening from her sleep. These story changes come alongside enhancements to classic sections of the ride.
The new tech will feature all new music, LED black lighting, laser projections, and a new animation system. You can also expect to see changes to the exterior of the building as well that will theme the ride to match Sleeping Beauty Castle.
We know that the permits are valid for 2020 but Disney has yet to announce when the attraction will close for the changes. We’ll be sure to update you as soon as we know!
