Disney+ Streaming Service Announces Special Offer for D23 Expo and D23 Members — Plus International Launch Dates and Pricing

Disney’s new streaming service, Disney+, is launching on November 12. In addition to a Disney+ Showcase and Preview at the D23 Expo this Friday, D23 Expo attendees can be some of the first to subscribe to the service.

D23 Expo attendees can take advantage of the “Founders Circle” offer and receive an exclusive “Founders Circle” pin (while supplies last August 22 through 25).

The “Founders Circle” offer grants $23.00 off per year with a three-year commitment. This is approximately a 33% savings off the standard annual price.

The “Founders Circle” Offer with pin (while pin supplies last) is open to all D23 Expo attendees from August 22 through 25.  The offer will then be online from August 26 through September 2 exclusively for D23 Members.

Disney+ Streaming Service Platforms, International Launch Dates, and Pricing

Disney+ has reached global agreements with Apple, Google, Microsoft, Roku, and Sony to distribute the Disney+ app across partner mobile and connected TV devices.

Disney+ will see their rollout begin on November 12, and expects to be in most major global markets within the first two years. Canada and the Netherlands will see Disney+ launch on November 12 along with the US. In Canada Disney+ will be $8.99CAD per month (or $89.99 per year) and in the Netherlands Disney+ will be €6.99 per month (or €69.99 per year).

Australia and New Zealand will see the launch of Disney+ on November 19. Pricing will be $8.99AUD per month (or $89.99 per year) and $9.99NZD per month (or $99.99 per year), respectively.

At launch, you will be able to subscribe to Disney+ directly or via in-app purchase and start streaming from the following partner platforms and devices (dependent on country):

  • Apple (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Apple TV, and fully integrated with the Apple TV app; customers can subscribe to Disney+ via in-app purchase);
  • Google (Android phones, Android TV devices, Google Chromecast and Chromecast built-in devices);
  • Microsoft (Xbox One);
  • Sony / Sony Interactive Entertainment (PlayStation®4 and all Android based Sony TVs);
  • Roku (Roku® streaming players and Roku TV™ models)
