More Info on Coronado Springs’ New Gran Destino Tower

Coronado Springs Resort‘s addition, Gran Destino Tower, opens to guests this July in Walt Disney World. We’ve learned some more details about the guest room, dining, and other options available at this new addition.

The Tower opens to guests on July 9, 2019, and reservations are currently being accepted for Tower rooms and the new rooftop restaurant, Toledo — Tapas, Steak & Seafood.

When the Tower is complete it will serve as the main entrance to the entire Coronado Springs Resort, in addition to adding 545 guest rooms and suites.

Along with the new tower, all existing guest rooms at Coronado Springs have been renovated and updated. The decor and theme for the 495 new guest rooms and 50 guest suites in the Gran Destino Tower, as well as the entire Resort, are inspired by the spirit of great Spanish explorers and Spanish artists, writers and architects.

In addition to more and renovated guest rooms, the Gran Destino Tower will add to the Resort‘s dining options. New locations include a rooftop restaurant. Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood, which will open on July 9.

Toledo will offer indoor and outdoor lounges as well as private rooms for groups or events — in addition to views of Disney WorldAdvance Dining Reservatons are currently open for this location — see our preview of the menu here!

Coronado Springs Resort guests and visitors can also dine at one additional new location, Three Bridges Bar & Grill. Three Bridges will be on an island in the middle of the resort’s 14-acre lake, Lago Dorado, accessible via walkways. There will be private event and group spaces adjacent to Three Bridges. The entire area including the restaurant and group space will be called Villa del Lago.

  1. i have a reservation for late September. Never stayed at this resort before. Usually POFQ.
    Excited about Star Wars and looking forward to how reservations or Fast Passes with be adjusted.

  2. With all the new rooms, will there be additional buses/ bus stops to accommodate that many more people at Coronado Springs?

  3. I do have reservations for August. With all the new rooms, will there also be an addtional pool area to accommodate the additional guests?
