Plans have previously been announced for Party for the Planet, a multi-day celebration in honor of the 20th anniversary of Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
One of the programs set for that event are Tiffins Talks, special hard-ticket dining offerings that will take place on select nights from April 22 to May 5.
Tiffins Talks are intimate dining experiences that will allow guests to enjoy specialty food and beverages that compliment the topics shared by animal and conservation expert speakers. Each Tiffins Talk will feature an expert who’s had a hand in creating Disney’s Animal Kingdom as it is today.
The tentative schedule for speakers and dates:
— Sunday, April 22, 2018 — Dr. Joseph Soltis, Research Scientist for Disney’s Animals, Science and Environment, will speak about the “Elephants and Bees” project in which honeybees are helping people and elephants in Kenya. The menu will feature African cuisine.
— Wednesday, April 25, 2018 — Joe Rohde, Portfolio Creative Executive and a veteran Imagineer, will share tales from his adventures all over Asia, India, Nepal and China. The chefs of Tiffins will follow Joe’s journeys with a menu inspired by his travels.
