Contributing photographer Jason of disneygeek.com sends us these photos from his trip to the parks on Friday, October 16, 2015.
It has been nearly a month since my last Disneyland visit due to a trip to Disneyland Paris and scheduling conflicts. This picture set includes a look at some of the changes and new additions at th Disneyland Resort.
The photo below is taken from the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure, they are removing asphalt and some trees in the Pinocchio parking lot area that is used for the trams. My understanding from internet rumor/reporting is they are relocating some support facilities here from backstage as part of the Star Wars project.

The windows at the tram stop now advertise Aladdin on Home Video and The Good Dinosaur coming to theaters in November.

Annual Pass prices have increased substantially since my last visit.

Signage at the FastPass machines now saying what show they are for and time. This is in preparation for Christmas when they will be running both World of Color Celebrate and World of Color Winter Dreams.
The Cove Bar is expanding. The Meet and Greet has been removed and that area will be used for additional seating for the bar. The line for the bar is currently in front of the construction wall.

A dual purpose picture. The Halloween Mickey popcorn buckets are out at most stands around both parks. Also notice the Pop Secret logo is now on the sign as well as most of the carts. Has anyone tried the popcorn? Has it changed at all in terms of taste?
A sneak peek of the upcoming Disney/Pixar film, The Good Dinosaur, is playing in the Bugs Theater now.

The sign for the preview

The preview was about 10 minutes long and featured a series of clips and an introduction from the director.
No pictures nor video allowed during the preview.
The Grand Californian Hotel has a large Halloween "Treet-t" Cake on display in the center of the lobby.

Some stats on the cake.

A quick cell phone video looking at the cake/tree.
Lights are being installed on the “small world” facade for the Holidays. They kick off in less than a month.

Pumpkins have returned to the hill overlooking the queue of Haunted Mansion Holiday.

A video clip of the singing pumpkins in the graveyard of the Haunted Mansion Holiday.
A Flower Market has been installed on Center Street off Main Street USA.

Peering over the construction wall at Innoventions. Too bad the building does not rotate anymore…would be interesting to read as it moved.

Over in Sarge’s in DCA a large model from Mattel (looks to be the same one that was at the D23 Expo) has taken over part of the hut.

A closer look at the model.

Hope you enjoyed this highlight tour of the Disneyland Resort. For additional photos and details from this trip you can check out the full Disneyland Update I posted on my site, http://disneygeek.com Also be sure to follow me on twitter @disneygeekcom for pictures from the parks.
