Contributing photographer Jason of disneygeek.com sends us these photos from his trip to the parks on Friday, April 24, 2015.

This posting will feature a look at Sleeping Beauty Castle as it prepares for the Disneyland 60th Anniversary Celebration that officially starts May 22, 2015. Most of the overlay is now complete. Just finishing details are yet to come, such as the logo for the 60th.

Approaching the castle from the hub.

The East (Tomorrowland) side.

New projector/light housing have been installed and these are larger (higher) than before.

The two boxes on the west side have returned and are higher than the old ones (just as the one on the east side)

Too bad the sky was not blue today…

Sleeping Beauty Castle with regular lighting. Once the celebration begins there will be special lighting on/from the castle.
