Character Changes at Animal Kingdom – Adventurers Outpost Announced

Beastly Bazaar located in the Discovery Island area of Animal Kingdom closed last August. It was announced a new character meet and greet would open in that building later in the year.

Walt Disney World has finally been announced (via the Disney Parks Blog) that the location will open this spring as The Adventurers Outpost, a character Meet and Greet with Mickey and Minnie.

With Mickey and Minnie moving out of Camp Minnie-Mickey, who will take their place? According to Disney Communications Manager Shawn Slater, “some of the friends you might find there include Chip ‘n’ Dale, Baloo, King Louie or Winnie the Pooh and Tigger. The best thing to do is to check with a Cast Member on the day of your visit.”

Taking Pooh and Tigger’s place at the Discovery Island Character Landing will be Daisy and Donald Duck.
