Disney Pic of the Week – Pleasure Island

Once upon a time there was a land where the night air was filled with music and laughter. Where people danced and sang and shouted out whole heartedly, Kungaloosh! Then the music stopped as did the dancing. There was nothing left to laugh about. The buildings that housed these moments of bliss closed.

One such building remains intact, at least the exterior is such. The pain of missing glorious days gone by is evident.

Pleasure Island is open and is currently comprised of shops and restaurants. All of the dance clubs, the Comedy Warehouse and Adventurer’s Club have closed.
