Forget the turkey leg, the only thing worth coming here for is the American Dream slushy! It's a perfect mix of icee and ice cream and the flavors go so well together. Like a giant bomb pop.

They only have one thing and they do it well. Fish is always crispy and salty and chips are thick steak fry style chips that are hot and fresh. Large portion could split for a small snack for sure.
Pros:
large portion, fresh, mobile orderCons:

This was our first stay on WDW property. We absolutely loved it! We stayed here for our second wedding anniversary. We also were here at the same time of Hurricane Ian. Even though the hurricane was happening for a day and half of the time we stayed, it was still magical. Disney cast members went above any beyond to make sure we were comfortable during our stay especially when the hurricane was happening. They made sure we could get laundry done, they brought us a microwave, candy in trick-or-treat bags from Mickey's not so scary Halloween party, they had activities for everyone to do during the storm, kept us updated on when it was safe to come out of our rooms. Before the storm being able to explore the resort was very nice. The pools were great and relaxing, having access to a gym, walking paths to the other resorts, magic kingdom and access to the Monorail adds a nice touch. The resort is overall beautiful and fun little hidden details throughout the resort was fun to see. It was so relaxing and a nice home away from home.
Pros:
Walking distance to Magic Kingdom, Pollynesian and The Contemporary. Access to the Monorail. Great restaurants, quick service and lounges. Plenty of activities to do, and shops. Views of MK fireworks is pretty awesome. Beautiful! Felt quiet, even with families staying.Cons:
Expensive rooms but worth it. Besides that I can't think of any cons.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 07/18/2024

Huge portions, pretty ok bbq unless you're someone who has bbq on a regular basis. I loved the smoked chicken, brisket sandwich and the mac n cheese. The kids menus come with a lot of options on the sides, and the portions are pretty good.
Pros:
lots of sides options, self serve beverages, lots of bbq sauces to pick at self serveCons:

Little better than your average tex mex from home but we still eat here every single trip. The queso is delicious, the chips are nice and thick and feel homemade. The normal tacos come plain but they do have salsa you can add, but the specialty tacos are really good. The rice and beans are really delicious too. Great seating outdoors but still in the shade.
Pros:
large variety, tasty food, big portionsCons:

Tons of seating, self serve drinks, self serve condiment bar, and lots of options. The pizza slices are huge and the thin and greasy pizzas I love. The burgers feel a step above normal disney burgers and the chicken sandwich is a fav of ours.
Pros:
lots of seating, self serve drinks, condiment bar a little more than usualCons:

Very busy most times so mobile order is a must, not a lot of seating but if you do find an open spot the theming is amazing. We take our tray over to galaxy's edge or pixar place sometimes. The sandwiches are amazing. Tots are tots so I get totchos rather than plain tots. The grownup lemonade is incredible, very sweet and pretty strong. I love the lunchbox tarts too!
Pros:
good food, kid friendly, theming is cuteCons:

Delicious and fresh funnel cakes. The oreo one is our favorite, and we've never had a stale oreo when we've gotten it. We like to grab this before watching Indiana Jones. The only negative is, it's very messy!
Pros:
cool, delicious, hugeCons:

I liked this so much more than I expected to! I am a total coaster wuss, so the very premise of this one terrified me, but I was determined to try it. The initial launch was pretty scary -- but after that, I found it to be a lot less intense than Guardians. The ride vehicle makes for a really wild, unique experience, and I ended up loving it.
That said, because the options are to either wait in a very long line (*after* your virtual queue) or spend money, I probably won't do this every trip. I hate lines and would never wait as long as this one can be, but sometimes that twenty-odd dollars can be better spent elsewhere.
I know the length is a con for most people, because it is a short ride, but for a coaster wuss, that was a good thing! I knew I had less that I had to make it through!
Definitely recommend doing this at least once, but not a must-do for every trip.
Pros:
unique experience, fast and fun thrill rideCons:

It's a classic, but the ride's enjoyability depends a lot on the skipper. The great ones are incredible! They give the spiel their own spin, add in jokes, show some real personality -- and if you get one late at night who looks around and realizes they have a boat entirely of adults, that is a SPECIAL treat. But if you get a skipper who pretty much just sticks to the script, then the jokes will be the same each time, and they wear thin after a while. It is a nice long ride, and the classic animatronics are always worth an ogle.
