maybe i am nostalgia biased, but this is the ultimate WDW ride to me- if i could only ever do one thing again in any parks, it would be pirates. immaculate storyline, experience and just like a warm hug as a ride

Pros:

family friendly but still exciting, disney classic, fun storyline

Cons:

the animatronics are slightly dated compared to some of disneys more recent ones

it’s a one and done- for many it’s the epitome of magic kingdom and such a classic, but if you’ve been on any ‘teacups’ anywhere in the world- you’ve done it already. still worth a ride at least once as a filler or if the lines short

Pros:

classic magic kingdom, family friendly, usually pretty short lines

Cons:

not very unique, probably won’t interest more mature (non disney adult 😉) guests

a must do every trip for me! just thrilling enough for a coaster fan but still tame enough for many kiddos and people nervous of thrill rides.

Pros:

super fun, classic attraction, crowd pleaser for lots of demographics

Cons:

not the most exciting coaster for true coaster enthusiasts (not myself), queue can be sometimes lengthy for what it is

Review of Boardwalk Inn (Deluxe Resort)

Review for stay at Disney's Boardwalk Inn (non-DVC section):

I have stayed at the following Deluxe Resorts: Beach Club, Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge, Animal Kingdom Lodge and the Polynesian. Unfortunately the only one I would not stay at again is the Boardwalk based upon my recent experience. The Disney Refillable Mug station is the size of a closet located within the public Boadwalk Deli with only one small soda station with a very unclean and crowded area with broken soda sections. The main pool (The Luna) heater was broken the entire week and was told by a lifeguard there will be a major pool refurbishement with no intent of fixing the heater until next year. Hope that is not true for future guests. There is no table or desks in the rooms. There is inadequate tables within the lobby so if you want a to sit down some place and eat it's difficult. Very minimal staff checking people (only one) and no one at the concierge table for long length of time. You will find yourself going up and down stairs or elevators constantly as the lobby is on the second floor. Very difficult layout. There is extreme catering to DVC so you feel like a second class citizen if you are not a DVC member. I have actually had better service and food court for drinks etc at the value resort Pop century. Please think twice before booking a stay here as a non-DVC member.
I did communicate to the supervisor who was incredibly inappropriate and said this is how we do things here. It was bizarre so I did escalate to a manager who validated to me that the supervisor was inappropriate and validated that she has had many of the exact same concerns that I have brought to their attention. I told her I love Disney and just want things to improve for quests. Hopefully they will implement changes but for now I cannot recommend. In fact this at this time is my least favorite resort including the value resorts.

Pros:

Access to Epcot and Hollywood.

Cons:

Inadequate staff, no room tables or desks, inadequate place to sit down inside and eat, no heater at pool, inadequate refill stations for quests using using refillable mugs, and no refill stations at pool, terrible layout finding you will be going up and down constantly.

Review of Sci-Fi Dine-in Theatre Lunch/Dinner

One of the best dining experiences in Hollywood Studios. Great for kids! Ours don't even know what a drive-in theater is, so sitting in a car and watching a giant screen was awesome. No Ms Rachel needed.

Fantasmic dining package is great too. Check with your cast member server on what's included vs not included, some of the exclusions seem pretty arbitrary. Other than receiving a float instead of a malt for my dessert (server miscommunication) it was an great meal!

Hollywood Studios can be tough to find a good family friendly table service right now with so much constructions and limited options, Sci-Fi drive in is a great choice!

Pros:

Awesome theming, great for kids, any meal in a cool, dark, quiet space on a day at Disney is PREMIUM

Cons:

Swing and a miss on my chocolate malt
