My son and wife got sick on our trip and we're stuck in our room off and on instead of getting to enjoy the parks. That socks but life happens. What also happens is that housekeeping refuses to take no for an answer even when you put up do not disturb signs and even tell them by phone to leave your sick family alone. They decide you need a "visual inspection" each day and force themselves upon sick folks. Customer service plays hot potato with you passing you around while reminding you how much they really do care. My family is already having a bad time due to illness. Take you happiest visual inspections on Earth and shove them somewhere. It's a shame. The food, hotel, and monorail service are amazing. Too bad the room sargeant gets to inspect your bunk. Ridiculous.

This pains me to give a restaurant a lower rating but ….
The view and watching the fireworks was the best part. Beautiful view! The hostess was also very sweet and helpful. I really appreciated her. (Checkin area)
We had coffee for our beverage(I was surprised that it was not included in the price :/.. or this was not explained to us)
We got the surf and turf sushi/ravioli, Halibut/Sweet potato Gnocchi; Hazelnut chocolate/Apple Carmel Tart.
appetizers: husband liked the surf and turf but nothing special he said; I enjoyed the ravioli and it was the best part of the meal.
Main: The Halibut was good but husband felt like it was not as fresh as it should have been. The gnocchi was way too sweet. It was sweet potato on sweet potato and the crispy bits tasted burnt/dry. I only ate a few bites and our waiter took it away without asking about me not eating it ..
Dessert: the Carmel apple tarts was very very good and the chocolate was too (but husband said it was a little too rich (and he loves chocolate)
Our waiter seemed rushed and he seemed a little frustrated that we didn’t order faster. I’m sure he was just over worked. It was Christmas Eve but coupled with not enjoying the meal and the shock of being charged $30 for coffee (10 each plus a refill that he asked if we wanted and I said yes not realizing it would be another $10) it was the best coffee we had had in property though.
It was a one and done unfortunately and makes me not want to try any of the other more expensive dinning experiences on property 🙁
Pros:

Oh my the breakfast here! Try the breakfast! Hidden gem! Yum yum! No kidding!!! We had the Steak and eggs and Tiramisu French toast/pudding and pressed coffee. Both of these were excellent! Steak was perfectly cooked as were the eggs and potatoes. The potatoes were crispy and egg was perfectly runny. The French toast/pudding was rich but not too sweet They also know how to cook bacon! Our waiter was attentive and friendly with excellent advice and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting!!
Do yourself a favor and go here for breakfast!

We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The upstairs is the place to sit and watch MK from above. We got the lobster roll, truffle fries and a seasonal holiday gingerbread cake. Our lobster roll was filled with plenty of lobster. The lobster was fresh tasting and had just the right amount of slaw/mayo. The holiday cake was excellent too. The low point was the “truffle” fries. The “sauce” on these fries was visually ick (like grey sludge) and the taste was not very appealing. The regular fries would have been sufficient.
Overall we enjoyed the food/experience.

I love this hotel! It has expensive nautical vibes and its close to 2/4 Disney parks which is a win win. It also provides about 3 methods of transportation, it is within walking distance from EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.
Pros:
Proximity to EPCOT & Hollywood Studios Transportation Theming Restaurants Pools Proximity to other resortsCons:

We went to the CakeBakeShop for breakfast. Had banana bread, waffles and eggs. The food was good, service was both friendly and competent and the atmosphere was like a little fancy fairytale land. It was our last Disney meal of our trip and we were a little tired of restaurant food and this did not taste like mass produced restaurant food.. it tasted satisfying. My 22 year old son said it was his favorite meal of the trip even if it was “just eggs”.. I loved the little to go bag and use it to take my lunch to work.. a sweet(free) daily reminder of our trip and our meal. Yes, it was pricey but we’d go back
Pros:
Service Very clean Satisfying not overfilling foodCons:

We are Disney Vacation Club members and generally stay at the deluxe villas when we go to Disney World. This trip was a booked relatively last minute to hear our daughter sing in the Candlelight Processional and took advantage of the annual passholder discounts that were available for the week we went. Art of Animation is now our favorite resort to stay outside of DVC. We stayed in a Lion King suite courtesy of a surprise upgrade from the Little Mermaid room we originally booked. The suites are spacious and well equipped. (We had stayed at AoA once before in a Cars suite with six adults and we all slept very comfortably in the sleep accommodations provided.) Disney's Art of Animation is conveniently located at the end of the Skyliner line and the stop is shared with the adjoining Pop Century Resort. The only time we found this to be a problem is at the end of the evening when departing EPCOT, the line could be somewhat long, but it moves quickly enough. The Skyliner connects the resort with EPCOT and Hollywood studios and Caribbean Beach and Riviera Resorts. There is bus service to the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Disney Springs in front of Animation Hall, the main building. Animation Hall is also where you'll find the Landscape of Flavors dining and the Ink and Paint Shop, the store for merchandise and assorted groceries.
The rooms are spacious with a full kitchen There is a master bedroom with 1 Queen Bed and 1 Double-Size Sleeper Sofa and 1 Double-Size Table Bed in the living area. The Lion King buildings are conveniently located near the skyline and the main building, but I didn't get the feeling that even the farthest buildings were too far from any of the important areas. Housekeeping came every other day, so the rooms were kept clean and paper goods were regularly replenished.
Pros:
Great theming, spacious rooms, convenient transportation options, huge poolCons:
-being dog friendly can be an issue if you're stuck near a room where the guests have let their dog alone. -some guests might find the far reaches of the resort a bit far -Skyliner can be busy at certain key times.Review of Thirsty River Bar and Trek Snacks

This used to be a must stop for me. There was nothing better than grabbing a stool at Thirsty River and enjoying a friendly chat with cast members while savoring the best beer ever created... the Kungaloosh! Sadly... The stools are gone. The cast members less welcoming than pre-pandemic. They no longer server the Kungaloosh. Go to Dawa instead!
