Room was no better than a Motel 6 or Days Inn. I will admit we are somewhat spoiled from staying at the Moderates or Deluxe hotels the last few trips so maybe I am expecting too much from a Value hotel.
It has been several trips since we last stayed at Pop. It is doubtful we will ever book there again.
Bus service is exceptional from the hotel to the parks though.
Pros:
Bus service to parks; food court;Magic Express serviceCons:
Bus service from parks-pickups almost always farthest from gate; shower head was awful; rooms are showing wear, especially bathroom; drawer broken; chair squeaked.Review of Tutto Italia Restaurant - Italy

We were seated immediately. The staff was very attentive, helpful, and friendly. The lasagna was delicious and the ravioli was phenomenal. I would definitely recommend the cannoli for dessert.

I have eaten here before & love it! Brought the BF 1st time & he enjoyed it as well. We sat with 2 other groups of 3 & it was very enjoyable to chat. Got to see 2 shows...lots of fun to sing & hear the music. It was hot & crowded outside so wonderful to cool off & relax for a bit. Tried lots of food...all of it was so good!
Pros:
Fun, lively, the food!!!Cons:

I was one of those people who didn't want the old Pecos Bill's to go away. Well, I changed my mind. We had the chicken burritos. The burritos were a nice size and the fixins bar had everything you could need. We were full and felt a lot better than eating a hamburger with fries. I guess I'm still going to be a Pecos Bill's fan.
Pros:
Great fixins barCons:

The best thing about this place after the theming was the pork shank. It was a great piece to the actual theming and a delicious little snack (to share of course). Now it's a coffee, juice, donut shack that has nothing to do with Gaston. Booo!
Pros:
Great themingCons:

Riverside is a pleasant place to be. The transportation options were good, and quick, and in general I was happy with our stay.
Two negatives. First, the place is really big, spread out. I had read about this, so I was prepared for that fact, but still, at the end of a long day, making our way back to our room was a trek.
More importantly, there was a resort-wide power outage the day we left. Things happen, and I understand that, but what really surprised me was that there were neither backup generators nor contingency plans for what to do if and when the power went out. The food court, for instance, was running out of food and coffee because they couldn't make any more.
Pros:
Nice theming, lots of pools, good food on siteCons:

Due to construction, it was the only choice between that and the turkey leg stand. Everything had either barbeque sauce or chili on it. Although I knew better, I ordered the bacon cheeseburger, the only option. Ice cold, left funny aftertaste. Whoever orders hamburger product for the studios food service has never tasted it. Homemade potato chips were tooth breaking hard. You order at window, turn around and try to get into pickup line two feet away. Very confusing to who is in what line. The cast member were the best part of lunch
Pros:
Friendly cast membersCons:

I love Jambo House. It isn't even my home resort, but as soon as I walk through the doors I feel like I'm at home. I've always had nothing but good interactions with all the staff there. The pool area could use a little improvement. It's just so small and loses sun so early. Bus service was great except when going to MK.
Pros:
Friendly staff, great themingCons:

I was hesitant about going to the party because we had had a terrible experience at the Christmas party a few years ago. We really enjoyed this. They allow party goers with their bands to purchase event merchandise starting at 4PM. That was awesome for us because you ended up spending a lot of time in lines at 7 or after (they could not start selling until non party goers left).
The cast members were beyond helpful and pleasant all night. The candy lines were long, bit moved really fast.
The fireworks were beyond awesome. The only thing I thought was not that great was how long it took the parade to get going. The headless horseman came out, but then we waited and waited and waited for the rest of the parade to start. It was well beyond the published time.
We attended on October 29th and the event was sold out. It was crowded, but not unmanageable. I look forward to going again in the future.

I wish this was just a walk up kind of place, but luckily, we did have reservations for a Saturday morning. My husband had the Tonga toast with the strawberry sauce (that's not what it's called but close), and I had the egg white omelet with feta and spinach, and standard Kona coffee. It was all hot, delicious. They do serve Tonga toast at Captain Cook's but this was hot, fresh, crispy and much better than that. If you're looking for a breakfast WITHOUT CHARACTERS, this is the place for you.
