Our server said quite a bit of the menu was carried over from Portabello, which surprised me. I was expecting something a little more distinctive and "foodie"-ish. However, the food is good-tasting, though the spaghetti bolognese was too salty. The seasonal soup was a fantastic white bean, but was a huge bowl that could have been a complete meal along with the ciabatta bread that comes with a small dish of delicious giardinere. Although the bread was good, it had to be torn, not cut, and it was greasy from the pan. Difficult to handle, and left you with really messy hands. The lasagna is spinach, not meat, although they will serve a meat sauce around it if you desire. It was nothing special. There are four wine flights available, plus a lengthy list of wines by the glass; there's a wine steward there to answer your questions. The pizzelle sandwich pictured above is huge, and also difficult to handle. It has caramel gelato in the middle, which is frozen stiff. The lemon panna cotta was tasty, but also too heavy after a full meal. I had expected it to be lighter. It's quite dense.

Noisy, priceyReview of Plaza Restaurant

We have eaten at plaza prior to this visit. We had had problems last december on our visit and saw at least 3 other very unhappy tables. But, thought it was always a favorite of mine > we will go open minded, thinking it was just a bad day. Sorry to say, we where soooooo wrong.
We had gotten there about 15 min early, told too early to check in, come back at 5 min. to go. We did and they registered us. Gave us our beeper / light thing. Then we waited over 30 min. in the sun. I went back to the counter to ask where we where in the que. I could clearly see in resturant. half the tables where totally empty. some needed to be bussed, with no one doing that at all. She said we are behind, not much longer. We where a party of 2. people with larger parties where walking up without reservations and getting seated before us. We went back to the counter could see same tables un bussed and empty still. We had now been over our resservations 45 min. I told her we where leaving and I will not be charge $20.00 because we didn't eat there. She said huh, no problem. I had no idication any of these hostess cared how long anyone waited. They where joking around, laughing, having a great time for being at work > when people where standing in 90 plus heat waiting to be called. Seemed to me maybe some of the 4 or 5 hostess could learn how to buss the table and or serve a customer.
I cancelled my ressie I had 2 days later and just cancelled the one I had in november.
I will not be here again.

We stayed at the CR for 12 nites 6/22 > 7/4. We had tower theme park view. We where just to the right of the center of the resort. Our view was totally amazing. The room was clean, and perfect. Beds very comfortable. Noticed the tv is now gigantic compared to our last stay.
Only issue we had was really parking. They shut the main lot in front of the tower closed 2 different times during our visit. No notice was given. No reason was given. My family member has a handicapp placard > and NO extra HC parking was available to tower. They did not designate any new area which we could use > other than the suggestion of valet parking. I really do not like valet parking, especially after watching them park cars the first day. They told us the first time, was due to construction. They closed lot on friday and construction was 1 day on monday. But, no one could use the lot in the mean time. 2nd time was july 2 cause of a large party in convention center (or thats my guess) also people parking and going to mk. main lot was totally closed. till after the 4th. Now for the price you pay at CR for tower tpv. appropriate parking should be available. Only other HC parking was over at south tower had about 8 spots and should be used for people in south tower. The BLT has some by there door too but these are NOT convient for someone who can only walk a limited amount.

We eat here as often as possible when we visit EPCOT. The food has always been very good, but I was a little, no very upset last visit as they removed the steak from the menu. This was my favorite dish I hope they bring it back.

I had the Mom's special which is a sampler platter with pot roast, meatloaf and fried chicken. All three meats were so tender and flavorful - I forgot I was at Disney!! They say the fried chicken is their best seller, but I thought the pot roast was out of this world. They were served with mashed potatoes and perfectly cooked green beans - not mushy and certainly not canned! The wedge salad had way too much dressing on it. The onion rings come with a delicious horseradish ranch sauce.
The theme of "Grandma's house was rude in the 50's" has a very specific and very sarcastic humor. It can be intense as the servers do not break character. It's not for everyone, but it was entertaining. Our server told all of us to stay off our phones and elbows off the table.
Loved all the classic shows playing on the old TV sets throughout the restaurant. The waiting area looks like an old living room.
Will definitely be back. It is so good.

Stayed here in July of this year (2018) and was pleasantly surprised they have refurbished the rooms and they have a coffee maker now! Rooms are now clean and have plenty of space for things. I've always enjoyed the theme here more so than the other value resorts but honestly, they're all pretty much the same cookie cutter hotel design. However, as with the other values, this one can be crowded. Especially if there is a special event going on. I would recommend checking on that before booking. There's nothing like waking up at 9 in the morning to a couple hundred cheer leaders practicing outside your room.
Pros:
Refurbished rooms, decent food court, fun themeCons:

We ate for the very first time on June 29, 2018. We are long time Disney guests and Annual Passholders so there's not many restaurants we haven't visited but we'd just not made it here since it opened. We were seated within 5 minutes of our arrival time. We loved the theming of the restaurant!
Food-wise, we shared the SEA Su Mai (excellent) appetizer. Wife, tempted by a spicy dish, had the Perkins Thai Noodles and I chose the "Hardy Har Char" Siu Pork. Both were very good. We will definitely be back. This will be our go-to sit down restaurant in the MK.

I received a text from Garden grocer when we landed saying that our groceries had been delivered (to Riverside). The food was delivered to the bellmen and perishables were kept cold. Did need to sign for and show ID for the groceries when I picked up from bellman since there was alcohol even though my proof of age was emailed to the grocer beforehand. They delivered within the time frame I wanted. Exactly what I ordered was delivered and the fruit was picked out well.
Would definitely use again!

This was our sixth time having dinner at Ohana and as always the food was excellent. It was a Thursday evening and we only had to wait 10 minutes for our table. The service that night was a big disappointment. Our waiters were rushing us through the meal and were not very attentive. The appetizers and salad came out together and within a few minutes the grilled meats very being put on our plates. We asked the server politely to wait on the meats, but he just put them on our plates anyway. This all happened before they even took our drink order. When we finally got our drinks we were being told our dessert was on the way! I did inform one of the managers that we were disappointed in the service that evening and her response was that they were extremely busy and she was even having to clean the tables herself! Hopefully this was just a off night for the staff at Ohana.

Coronado Springs is a very beautiful resort, even with the current construction going on. We were there from August 4th - August 11th. I was initially concerned with it having a convention center, but the convention people did not bother us at all. We were very pleased with the bus stops. There are 4 bus stops around the resort, some even with schedule monitors showing when the next bus is coming. The buses came very quickly. The buses were not crowded and were very pleasant. The only complaints we have are: 1.) The Pepper Market's food selections were a disappointing. 2.) The slide at the main pool was closed for most of our trip, and that's one of the reasons we booked Coronado. We wanted our kids to experience that and unfortunately they did not get to go down the slide at all. 3.) We were in the Ranchos section, which was too far of a walk every morning to the food court to fill up our mugs. Even though the Ranchos are the prettiest buildings in my opinion at Coronado, they were too far at the back of the resort.
Overall, I would stay at this resort again, but definitely in a preferred room.
