Review of Be Our Guest -Counter Service Lunch

If you plan to eat at Be Your Guest, be sure to pre-order your food. We did not (did not want to commit to our lunch order so far out) and regretted it. The line to order (a two part line first outside then inside) was CRAZY. If we had pre-ordered, we basically would have walked right in and gotten our food.
The place is large and seemingly has plenty of seats. We did enjoy our food. The sandwiches are large. If we go again, we would likely split one sandwich between two people and then have dessert. The cupcakes were yummy! They are fairly small so those are not recommended for sharing.

Pros:

Quantity of Food

Cons:

Ordering Process

A good place to eat if different people in your party want different things. Everyone can choose whichever station they want to get their food. But each station has 2-3 choices and that is it. So more choices/flexibility at each station would be good. But the food is good. Free drink refills is nice as well. Lots of tables - good indoor seating. Good options for kids. In addition to kids meals, you can grab an apple or a banana or a bag of chips.

Pros:

Lots of Indoor Seating, Pretty Quick Service

Cons:

Lack of flexibility

Review of Plaza Restaurant

Our favorite place to eat at MK. After being overfed with meat/potatoes at most Disney locations, the Plaza offers 'normal' lunchtime fare of sandwiches and salads. I recommend going mid-day and having a meal and dessert and then all you'll need later is a lite snack for dinner. All of our meal choices were enjoyed from sandwiches to burgers. The brisket burger is huge with a bunch of brisket piled on top of a burger. My daughter LOVED it. The ice cream and milkshakes are really YUMMY. I like that the place is small and intimate. Also, right on Main Street and if you are there at parade time, you can see some of the floats going by.

Food, Dessert, Service

This is a great place to eat - so much calmer than eating at the parks. Loved the flatbreads and fries. Great options for allergies. Free refills. Really enjoyed and ate here several times during the week. Good variety of choices. Nice portion sizes.

This is our favorite place to eat at Disney. Interacting with the main Disney characters while you eat is the best. The only downside is 'rushing' to get your food from the buffet so you don't miss a character. Otherwise, the food is yummy and plentiful and varied. The pancakes were wonderful. The characters are FUN and always great to meet without having to wait in lines.
The atmosphere at the Contemporary is great with the monorail going through all the time.

Pros:

Characters, Setting, Food

Cons:

Rushed atmosphere

Review of 'Ohana Best Friends Character Breakfast

This was our first time for breakfast at O'Hana. We enjoyed the food. It is nice that the food is served to you (rather than a buffet) - much easier to be available for the characters to come around. Service was good. You can have as much food as you like. Only negative was we had to wait quite a while for our table which forced our whole meal to be rushed as we had a plane to catch! This was our longest wait with an ADR for a table all week. Also, I felt like the characters were not as interactive with the guests as they are at other locations.

Pros:

Food

Cons:

Wait

We had sundaes for dinner and they were amazing. They are large so we were glad we skipped dinner. Line was long but moved quickly and worth the wait. Not nearly enough tables. We ate sitting outside on a ledge and it was very messy. Difficult to eat big sundaes without a table.

Pros:

Ice Cream

Cons:

Seating

My daughter and I ate brunch here on 3-1-17. We both thought the food and selection was very good. I especially liked that breakfast and lunch options were available. The Mickey waffles were awesome of course, but so was the fresh fruit, salmon, and my daughter Loved the mickey shaped mac n cheese. I loved the small bite sized desserts. The Character interaction was great! We got some of our best pictures of the whole trip!
