Good food and great service. We were hesitant about going here since the one in Disney World was not that great the last time we ate there. This was a great surprise. The cheese fries and boneless wings were great. 3 of us had the chicken cesar salad which was plentiful and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The other 2 had the cheese steak and raved about it. Would definitely return.

The food was great, and our service was top notch. We were disappointed that the menu is now the same all day. Many of our favorite lunch entrees are no longer available: Quiche, crepes, ham and cheese sandwich, etc. There is a new flat iron steak on the menu which is served with crispy thin fries, and it's very good. The desserts, as always, are terrific! The number of times we visit each vacation will probably decrease, simply because the menu doesn't vary from lunch to dinner.

We had breakfast here. Our server was very accommodating. One the people in our party wanted the granola. When he asked the server, she stated it was very large but she would be happy to go to the "express" side and bring him the smaller version. I had the french toast which was awesome. Two had the blueberry pancakes. They were huge and there were 3 of them. They could have split one order. One had the egg platter and the other ordered the children's french toast sticks. I like the fact they serve breakfast items until 3 pm. Do not hesitate to eat here.

Great resort for the family.
From the themed buildings and 2 themed pools, a good food court and shopping. This resort bring you back to the era's of music.
It was a big plus with the resort having 3 pin boards for pin trading. One behind the check in desk, one in the shop and one in the food court.

We had breakfast here for the first time last week, and now it's on our Top Ten list! All the selections that we tried were great. We had a 10:45 reservation, so it would span both breakfast and lunch. Once the lunch items began to appear, the breakfast selections quickly disappeared. We would have liked access to breakfast for a longer time.

As a professional Chef there are tree thing I look for in a restaurant.
A good clean environment
knowledgeable staff
and professional Chefs
So far every restaurant on the Disney property follows a quote from the film "ratatouille."
"Anyone can cook" and after many disappoints from countless restaurants, The Wave will surprise you in countless ways.
One person in my party has a severe food allergy (celiac disease) and the Sous Chef Kimi Holt came out and talked with us.
To see a level of professionalism from her and finding out everything is made from scratch made this Chef tst her skills.
I had a grilled Beef tenderloin cooked medium rare with ductchess potatoes topped with sour cream and chives, sautéed green beans.
I have dined in some of the best restaurants in the world, worked with world class chefs and spend 17 years of my life as a Professional Chef.
After some careful thought and consideration I can say The wave is one of my top 5 favorite restaurants in the world. I shall be returning as a regular customer.
Kimi Holt is one of the best Chefs employed by Disney.
Pros:
Porofessional Chefs that will impress youCons:

I heard Flying Fish was finally re-opened after 7 months. New décor, new Menu. As it had been a favorite we decided to invite Mom and her friend to join us. After viewing the new menu and the prices, we decided to order several appetizers and a soup. WE all chose the Blue Crab Bisque. there was plenty of lump crab meat in the huge bowls. The server has also added the sherry right there at the table so you could tell him, none, just a little, or go ahead and pour. Hubby went with none, I let him just pour. the appetizers were all nice sized portions. I often make my dinner out of appetizers and a salad or soup, so I was surprised at the regular sized dinner plates that the appetizers were plated on. Hubby decided to order the regular Wagyu beef filet for his meal. he always orders medium rare plus- or on the medium side of medium rare. he alsa asked to switch the Bordelaise sauce for a garlic butter sauce. The beef appeared more rare than he would usually eat it, but he took a bite and said it was perfect. I believe the wagyu is more red, it was so tender it just melted. yes the filet was large enough, he gave everyone a bite to try. we asked the server to recommend a dessert to share, she suggested the "Under the Sea". It was 3 hills of Chocolate mousse, along with toffee that looked like coral fans. it was very rich and perfect sized for 4 to each have several bites. All of us very much enjoyed our meal, and we will be back, just not as often as we went to the "Old Flying Fish" due to the higher price point. The DO also still take the Tables in Wonderland Discount card...So that is a plus !
Pros:
beautiful decor, very upscale, and quieter than the dining room used to be.Cons:

In July, DD10 was transformed into a Mermaid. We purchased a top & skirt at home and brought it with us. Our reservation time was 10:00 am, but a large family checked in before us, so they were running about 40 minutes late!! Once they were ready for us, DD was shown a dressing room to get changed, then signed the mermaid book.
The transformation was fun, the CM was in full character during the whole interaction and engaged DD with questions and trivia about Jack Sparrow. The hair and makeup took about 45 minutes.
After that was finished, you are then escorted into the "secret room" where photopass takes several pictures. We had pre purchased Memory Maker, so all the pics where loaded to our magic band.
The experience is fun, the decor is spot on, the CM are great.
In previous years DD was a pirate, again with a costume from home. Same experience as this year.

Family & I had lunch here in July. Food was great, server was very friendly. We did not reserve the Fantasmic lunch package, but the server offered it to us, which we accepted. The server was very accommodating, as DD 10 wanted a change to her app. and she didn't care for the plated dessert so he brought her the kids spaghetti & meatball cupcake (which she loved!)
Overall it was a great meal & we look forward to eating here again.

Other than the very busy seating in August there was nothing else we would change about this meal.
We ordered ribs which came with corn on the cob, a chicken and rib platter (also with corn on the cob) and a loaded jacket potato with sour cream, cheese and chives.
The cupcakes were Minnie-type with cute little bows on top. I am not a huge fan of cupcakes and these were a little sweet for my taste but otherwise very nice. The entrees were outstanding and made a nice change from usual theme park offerings.
