As a wheelchair user I am used to being ignored, looked over. That was the service here. I waved several times and even made brief eye contact with the cm behind the counter but she kept looking away and taking the guests behind me in line. I finally yelled that I was next and the man behind me told me, in French, to take care of me. She made a comment in French and as they argued, I rolled on out of there. Never again.

Review of Be Our Guest - Counter Service Breakfast

I had been at this restaurant for a table service and it was just ok for that. The quick service breakfast was much better food. We had basic cereal and French toast both served with fruit and then staff brings a platter of breakfast pastries to the table before your main course gets there.

The ability to place your order ahead of arrival is a great idea, but once you get to the restaurant you stand on a long line with people deciding what to eat. Doesn't make sense? There are staff to help with ordering process but when there are large parties especially with children trying to decide what everyone wants it is time consuming.

So, you place your order, hit magic band for dining plan or payment, then go find a seat. The morning of our ADR there were plenty of empty tables and you go to any of the rooms. The food is then brought to your table pretty quickly.

I'm hoping Disney works out the kinks with ordering, otherwise I won't be returning. It took an hour for a quick service meal, with most of the time spent on line. Way too much time!!

Review of Caribbean Beach Resort (Moderate Resort)

We spent another wonderful vacation at Caribbean Beach. We were there from the end of March until the 10th of April. This time we found the food court to be a little less maintained i.e. eating utensils not always restocked quickly, coffee machines often empty, tables not cleaned very quickly. Food service has always been a little slow, but with the number of guests that they take care of that's understandable. All it takes is a large group of sports teams to descend and that backs things up in a hurry. The Aruba and Trinidad North quiet pools were both being refurbished during our stay, but there are plenty of other pools to use, so not a problem. Love the new laundry machines, easy to use and the front loaders are larger. Our rooms ( 6 people, 3 rooms) were great, always cleaned promptly with lots of towels, soaps etc. Buses ran pretty well. They are now using a time board at the resorts that lets you know when to expect your next bus. These are right at the bus stops and are pretty much accurate. The resort itself is as beautiful as it always was. Clean, colorful and always inviting. Our Magic Bands that were shipped to our house before the trip allowed us to get into our rooms when they were ready. In order to do this, you must have the bands shipped to your home, check in on-line, and leave a credit card on file with a chosen pin #. Also, leave a cell phone # so they can text you when your room is ready. The staff at the Banana Cabana pool bar always makes our stay enjoyable. They are tons of fun and one of the reasons we keep coming back to CB. Can't say enough about this beautiful resort. Yes, it's big, but it's also big on customer service. Don't want to forget to mention the lovely trail around the lake that makes for a great walk, especially at sunset. Free outdoor movies every night, arts and crafts for the kids, marshmallow roasts, and afternoon pool games at the main pool are just a few of the fun things available to do there. Can't wait to go back again!

beautiful, friendly

Always a hot, delicious breakfast when we dine here. Characters are a bonus and always spend time to take multiple pictures with us. We are on the dining plan so cost was not an issue and if you ask me, its worth not waiting in all the lines for meet-n-greets throughout the day.

Pooh French toast is great and the room is so nice and bright pictures come out beautiful!

Party of 2, we were seated quickly, our server was attentive and very nice.
We ordered the flat bread pizza and spaghetti, no meat. Both were enjoyable as we shared both and food was plentiful and hot.
Had gelato for dessert and that was good too.
Overall our first experience dining here, we were satisfied and would go back.

Review of Kona Cafe Lunch/Dinner

We walked up at 5:00 on June 30 without an ADR and they were able to seat us so that alone was amazing. We have always loved Kona and it did not disappoint. We started off with the must have Lapu lapus and then the sweet bread and macadamia nut butter- delish! We had a mix of potstickers, sushi, red pepper soup and shrimp and chicken noodle bowls. Everything was absolutely delicious. We have never been disappointed here and I can not wait to go back!

We were here on June 30th. We came from a blazing hot afternoon at MK and got right in at opening. We were looking forward to AC and a cold beverage. Huge disappointment. It was super dark and loud. The servers didn't do anything special other than pretend to swim. We ordered 6 drinks- 4 cocktails and 2 beers- no souvenir cups-and a few apps. (Wings and tacos, I think) Our bill was over $150.00. Ridiculous. I've had better food and effects at Rainforest and T-rex. We couldn't get out of her fast enough. We ran upstairs and grabbed some Lapu lapus and dinner at Kona and life was good again!

Pros:

Potential to be fun

Review of Garden Grocer

We tried Garden Grocer for the first time this year. We found it to be a great money saver. We placed our order online enough in advance to receive a 10% discount. Delivery fee was $14. with a minimum order of $40. Just ordering a case of water is a huge money saver when the price of a bottle of water at the World is $2.75. We ordered munchies, and lots of breakfast foods, along with OJ and milk, so we could get out of our room earlier in the AM, and also, of course, to save $$$ on breakfasts. Delivery is made to bell services, and they keep your refrigerated things cold until you call and ask them to deliver everything to your room. Groceries are brought in sturdy paper bags (eco friendly). We will certainly use this service again. A great idea!

cost effective

This is our Home Resort. The rooms are clean, service is great, if there is a problem the desk sends someone ASAP. Walk to the MK, buses are out your front door, and Epcot is just a Monorail hop away. The Top Of The World Lounge is an awesome spot for cocktails and fireworks. This is a fantastic place to vacation.
