Had an 8am breakfast here on Friday, April 5th. Very short line, moved quickly. Ordered two waffles with powdered sugar, one with cinnamon, and one waffle sandwich with egg, tomato and prosciutto. Everything was fantastic. Saw someone with the Nutella and fruit waffle, which looked amazing. Must try that next time. Also hoping to try the other savory waffle sandwiches on their menu but they're a bit hard to grab as they're only offered for a short window of time each day.
There is a very lovely spot on the side of the restaurant with tables, shade, and a spectacular view of the castle. Just couldn't ask for a nicer breakfast.

Dinner here was amazing and delicious. Our waitress was very nice and accomodated our young ones needs. I had the Cornish Hen which was great. Dessert was great also! We sat in the Ballroom and had a view of the Beast taking pics in the library. Our 3 yr old was afraid of him though.
I recommend this restaurant for everyone if you can get a reservation in advance!

Visited this restaurant as a party of 7 on 18th April. We were 20 mins early for our reservation time, but we were seated straight away as the restaurant was pretty empty. This was our 4th visit to this restaurant, the first two were great, however the last two visits were poor. Six of our party ordered the Steak Frites from the entree menu, all of them ordered medium well. When the steaks came five of our party said that the steaks were way overlooked and didn't,t taste like steak at all. I have had flat iron steak many times and this piece of meat tasted like liver and was not like any other steak I have had before. The arugula salad that came with the steak was that sour that none of the six people that had it could eat it. I asked the server if the arugula was supposed to be that sour and he said that it was and that he didn't like it himself! Surely if diners cannot tolerate the sourness of this salad then it should be changed. The desserts were fine, however as my DH is diabetic he asked our server if they had anything that he could have that was sugar free and our server flatly replied No. Other restaurants in Disney have been extremely accommodating and have gone out of their way to provide something for my DH, but not Wolfgang Puck,s. This will be one restaurant that I will never go back to again.

LOVED this place! It was adorable! The cast members here were so pleasant. I ate here by myself and the cast members made sure Winnie the Pooh and friends came to my table! The buffet was great - i had a little bit of everything! I was stuffed but it was well worth it!

Visited here as a party of 7 on 17th April. Our reservation was for 7.20 but we didn't get seated until 7.50. Our table was outside and was facing the lagoon, a perfect view for the forthcoming fireworks! Our orders were taken promptly but unfortunately our food did not arrive until 8.45. 4 of our party had ordered steak, however when they came all were cold as though they had been sitting around for a while. We did not complain as we were all so hungry. 3 of our party ordered hot tea with their desserts and again when the tea arrived the water was cool. This used to be my favourite restaurant but after this visit, THe Rose and Crown is not one I will be rushing back to visit in future.

I had the pleasure of eating here again after my last time which was 8 years ago, and it was still fun and enjoyable as last time! I had a reservation for one, but I was seated next to a lovely family from Canada and a lovely couple from Tennessee. I was the only one at our table brave enough for the large beer! Food was delicious. I was full and I couldn't stop eating. The sausages, potatoes, beer and cheese soup, I can go on and on. Highly recommended for great food and atmosphere - kids can go on the dance floor and release energy by dancing!

I just had to post a second comment since my last. We used pp in March and did post a positive review. Since then we received our CD and was excited about showing it to everyone when realized that 6 pics were missing. I logged back into my online photos which was about to expire and noticed that they weren't there. They were the only pics of my dd4 and Minnie Mouse. I called customer service and spoke with a Lori who asked me several questions such as date of photo, time taken (approx) what child was wearing, location. She searched through 1000's pics from that time stamp and was able to locate the pics. She then uploaded them in order for me to edit and sent me a whole complete CD with all 652 pics on it FREE!!!! She spent at least 2 hours searching and I was eternally grateful. That saved my dd4 day!!! Thank you so much for caring.

Our family visited this restaurant on 10th April. Our reservation was for 6.30. When we arrived the waiting area was extremely busy and we had to wait around 20 mins to be seated. our food arrived promptly and we all enjoyed the salad and the bread. The dinner was absolutely delicious, the beef , pork and turkey were succulent and tasty so much so that we devoured the meat and asked for another platter. When the platter came there was even more meat on the platter than the first. My DH and two teenage boys tucked right in. The mashed potato, mac and cheese and root vegetables were excellent. The dessert was delicious, but unfortunately we could not finish it as we were all full up. This was our second visit to the Liberty Tree and certainly won,t be the last.

Our family visited here for lunch on 11th April for lunch. It was a very hot day so we wanted to get out of the heat as soon as possible and arrived 15 mins early of our reservation time. The restaurant was not busy so we were seated straight away. Our server was very polite and attentive and went through all the options on the menu with us.
We all opted for the prix fix menu. I and my DH and DS (15) opted for the onion soup, my other DS (19) opted for the lobster bisque. The onion soup was very good, there was so much cheese in there. My DS(19) thoroughly enjoyed the lobster bisque. Next came our entrees, myself and my DS(15) had the croque Monsieur with salad. It was delicious, the bread was thickly cut and golden toasted, the ham was thick cut and the cheese was all gooey and soft. My DH opted for the quiche Lorraine which looked as though it had just been baked and he thoroughly enjoyed his lunch. My other DS chose the mac and cheese which he said was very tasty, but there was too much of it and couldn,t finish.
For our dessert, 3 of us opted for the strawberry cake with whipped cream and strawberry sorbet - wow this was so good. My husband is diabetic and he asked if there were any sugar free desserts that he could have. Our server replied that there wasn't, but he would go and speak to the chef. He arrived back with a beautifully presented bowl of fresh berries - there were strawberries, blackberries, blueberries and raspberries. All were juicy and sweet.
My DH was extremely impressed with the service in Chefs de France and we would highly recommend trying this restaurant.

We stayed at POFQ April 14-20, 2013. My family and I (me, husband, and 9 year old son) liked it quite a lot!
We stayed in Building 6 in a River View room. We were supposed to be in a garden view room at Riverside, but in order to correct a mistake with our reservation, Disney upgraded us, along with all of the members of our extended family traveling at the same time, to River View rooms at French Quarter for the same discounted price, which was a nice surprise.
The resort itself is lovely, beautifully landscaped and green, with attractive architecture. The room was big enough, and the privacy curtain between the room and the sinks was very handy for getting ready for bed without waking our already-sleeping son. Queen-sized beds were quite comfortable. We had a ground floor river view room right near the area where they hold the nightly campfire at the resort. My husband loved being able to directly exit the room in the morning without having to find stairs or wait for an elevator. Soundproofing of the room was great - I never once heard our upstairs or next-door neighbors through walls or ceiling.
We had no problems with the buses. All but one time, we had a dedicated bus for French Quarter to bring us to the parks and back. One night when we were leaving to go to the park in the early evening, we did have stop at all the stops at Riverside on the way out, which added another 5-10 minutes to the ride. But other than that, buses were fast and reliable.
The cafeteria at FQ was fine, especially for breakfast, though I would have liked more healthy food choices for lunch.
In the past, we have always stayed at a deluxe (VWL, AKL, YC) or at the Dolphin, but I have to say that except for the limited dining options, we really didn't miss any of the deluxe extras.
