Very crowded and hard to find a seat. Bread on my sandwich was burnt. Limited choices for kids on dining plan. Hubs had a burger it was fine. Nothing great. Fun to watch Jedi show.

Review of Be Our Guest -Counter Service Lunch

We had dined here for lunch about a year ago, and could not wait to return! This time the line was as long as the drawbridge, but moved very quickly, much faster than last time. The cast members said they have made some changes and this makes things go more quickly and smoothly. We used our Magicbands to order, so cool how they find you no matter where you sit! Again the food was very good, with large portions. The service was much better than typical counter service, and eating on real plates and silverware is great. A big plus is drink refills. it was very busy the day we visited, but so worth it to eat in the gorgeous Beast's castle. This has become a WDW must do for us.

Pros:

atmosphere is outstanding, great food

Cons:

wait time can be long

Review of Chef Mickey's Dinner

Chef Mickey's has been our family's favorite place to eat dinner for over 20 years. Our last visit, however, was a little disappointing. Besides the fact that we paid over $200 for a family of 4 to eat dinner, some of the food we have grown to love has been replaced. We always enjoyed the prime rib. However, the prime rib has been replaced by roast beef. When we asked the server why, he stated Disney did a survey and they wanted to offer more variety, so that got rid of the delicious prime rib and added roast beef, mussels, and sushi. Well, I'm not sure who they surveyed, but this is a FAMILY restaurant, and I'm not so sure who would eat that stuff. Very disappointing since the prime rib was always a favorite. With all this being said, we still love Chef Mickey's, just not a much. One thing is for sure - the parmesan potatoes are out of this world and the best thing on the buffet! Please bring back the PRIME RIB!!!

Pros:

Fun atmosphere; Parmesan potatoes!

Cons:

Prime rib replaced with Roast beef and sushi!

DF of 3 ate here twice during out trip last summer. We arrive in 179 days and this will be our first dining experience! My DH loves the deep fried burger.( once a year!) MY DD loves the fish and chips. It is an awesome place to grab a bite of food and a pint of beer, and relax after 2100 miles of traveling. Beer is good also...we always meet nice fun people here!

Pros:

Good Fast Food

Cons:

Limited Seating

Review of Spice Road Table

I was so excited to eat here last week. Technically, it was still under the soft opening status. We went for lunch and had the seafood sampler platter and hummus & olives. The calamari was the best we've ever had anywhere. Period.
There were some issues with the service but I'm assuming it's because it's still a new place. There were plenty of servers but ours in particular seemed to disappear for extended periods of time.
If they work that out, this will be one of the best places to eat.

Pros:

Great food, very beautiful

Cons:

service could use some tweaking

Dropped our kids here on 1/20 when we went to CA grill. Son age 4 loved it. Lots to do for him. He was on computer when we got there. Daughter age 9 was oldest there and only girl. She watched TV and hung with one of the CM. They ate dinner there and seemed to enjoy it overall. We used the coupon that came with package for 15% off.

Pros:

We stayed at Wilderness Lodge

Cons:

more for little ones

We stayed here from 1/18-1/26. 2 Adults 2 kiddos. Room 4026 woods view. We could see fireworks through the trees! Was a little confusing when we first pulled up in our car with the unloading process etc. The room was great. Plenty of storage and very cozy beds. My only complaint there was no where to hang towels after using them. Mousekeeping was great. Got towel animals twice. They brought us a stepstool for our son when we called. We were right by elevator which was nice and laundry was very close by. Food court was fine. Small and crowded by coffee. Sandwiches were the best and we had breakfast on our last day. Buses were hit or miss. We drove our car to Hollywood Studios. Waited a while in the morning for other park buses. Bus stopped at Grand Floridian on the way to Animal Kingdom and at Campground on the way to Epcot. We enjoyed the boat to and from Magic Kingdom and to Contemporary as we went there twice. Overall a great place. Was too cold to enjoy the pool. But I definitely plan to go back.

Pros:

Location, boats to Magic Kingdom, room size

Cons:

Review of Spice Road Table

I was actually the official First Guest on Jan 11 2014! I expected a rush of 50 or so people, but there were only a handful of us lined up for rope drop at France, and I just happen to be a fast walker.

I got a free meal (disclaimer), pictures taken, etc. The manager asked me to write something in his scrapbook for opening day. Here's what I wrote:
"This is the kind of food I've always hoped to find at the Morocco pavilion! The spicing is wonderful -- it really lives up to the name of Spice Road Table. This restaurant will be popular for many years to come. Best wishes to all of you."

Of course I wanted to say something nice, but I meant what I wrote. I had the Tingis Sampler, with Lamb Slider, Harissa Chicken Roll, and Merguez sausage (lamb). The first two are to die for, especially the chicken roll, which I didn't expect much from as it looks like an ordinary spring roll. The "lamburger" was cooked perfectly and the mint tzatziki sauce made it irresistible. Overall this sampler is heavy on meat, and I noticed another table had the first two items with hummus as the third item, which was a good idea. I didn't think to ask whether they had been allowed to substitute in the Sampler or paid the a la carte price for each.

For dessert, I had the Chocolate Pyramid, which sounds formidable but is just a modest pyramid of chocolate mousse with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Overall, the food is delicious and portions are on the small side, as intended. If you are starving or looking for good value, you should probably look elsewhere. But otherwise I think you will enjoy it.

Pros:

Wonderful Flavors, Nice View

Cons:

Somewhat Pricey
