Review of Narcoossee's

I ate here last night with a friend; it was the first time dining at Narcoossee's for both of us. Our reservation was for 7:35pm, we arrived just a few minutes early and were given a pager. After just a minute or two of exploring the deck outside, the pager went off.
We were seated next to the window with a beautiful view of Magic Kingdom. Our server was Lori and she was great about keeping our drinks filled and attending to anything we asked for.
For starters, I chose the Plant City Strawberry Salad. It was good but I didn't enjoy the lettuce (frisee and spinach leaves). My friend had the calamari, which he said was very good. We both loved the bread service and the amazing sea salted butter.
For our entrees we each got the filet mignon, which was absolutely fantastic. Perfectly cooked to the way we each requested it and so tender. The green beans and mashed potatoes were delicious. With dessert we both went classic: the almond crusted cheesecake. Wow! I haven't had cheesecake that good in a long time.
Overall I would absolutely recommend Narcoossee's for a night out. Just beware that it can get very loud as there's nothing to absorb the sound and it bounces everywhere.

My friend and I ate here last night for the first time. We loved it! From All Star Movies, it took about an hour to get to Ft. Wilderness via Magic Kingdom. Our show was at 8:30 and we arrived around 8pm. We had picked up our tickets from Lobby Concierge, but still needed to visit Concierge at the Fort, to get a CM discount applied.
Category 1 was sold out by the time we booked so we went with Category 2. We were very near the stage, the first table on the outer ring. With that view, I'm glad we didn't pay the extra for Cat. 1.
Rob was our server and he was amazing. He kept us refilled on drinks and brought more food when we asked. He also told us jokes, some of which were probably not Disney appropriate, but as two adults, we thought they were hysterical!
The food was very good. Cornbread was outstanding-we asked for a second loaf. I didn't like the salad dressing but my friend devoured almost the entire bucket! Fried chicken was good and ribs were excellent. I didn't try the beans but my friend said they were just alright. Corn was standard and the mashed potatoes...they were the best potatoes I've ever had! The strawberry shortcake was out of this world and I wish I could have eaten more but I was stuffed.
The show itself was funny, I really enjoyed the humor. There's a reason this show has been around for 40+ years! Also great was the fact that buses back to the resorts were provided right outside after the show, broken up by zones. I believe this is only for the last show, but our zone was the three All Stars, Coronado Springs, and Animal Kingdom Lodge.
I'm sad I never gave this a try but I'll definitely be back in December with my mom!

We were in WDW last week and ate at 50's Prime Time Cafe on Tuesday night. We loved it! The decor, atmosphere, food-everything! We even earned "Clean Plate Award"! The food was great, the service was great and we didn't have to wait too long for our food. Fabulous place to eat-highly recommend it.

Food was pretty good but a lot of the typical breakfast foods. Pooh's puffed French toast was very good and a favorite also the omlet station was good but had a line that I jumped out of twice because the characters were coming to the table and we didn't want to miss our turn to get pictures. I felt $100 for 2 adults, 10 year old and 14 year old was pretty high for breakfast as our family isn't huge breakfast eaters. We will probably save our money and spend a little more for a character dinner or lunch next time.

This was our second trip that we made time to visit Disney quest and our kids love it, especially our 10 year old son. It was great just to give them a few hours to basically do whatever they wanted in the building and not have to worry. Our artistic 14 year old daughter spent most of her time on the "creativity" area where she could draw and even take drawing lessons on the computer. We had fun on each floor and the kids especially enjoyed the "old" arcade games on the 5th floor and the newer games on the first floor. There were even some interactive raft and pirate games that we could play as a family. We had water park tickets so Disney quest was included in our tickets.

Our family of 4 ate here on our last day in Disney for lunch. I'm always leery about trying the ethnic restaurants with my family as 2 members are somewhat picky. I have to say that this was probably our favorite meal of the trip. Everyone tried something new and really enjoyed their meal. The desserts were the highlight although pretty pricy at 8.99 each. My 14 year old daughter is in her first year of French class and the waiter was very engaging and tried to encourage her to speak French. The downside was the noise level seemed especially loud and it made it very difficult to understand the waiter as he had an accent and we were trying to hear him over the noise. we would definitely return to Les Chefs de France in the future.

We visited Typhoon Lagoon on March 18 when the high temp for the day was only in the 70's but the water is heated so it didn't bother us. It felt like we almost had the park to ourselves! The wave pool is huge and a lot of fun for our 14 year old daughter and 10 year old son. The staff at Typhoon lagoon was very friendly and told us that the water parks can vary in attendance but it is generally low when the high temp is below 80 or the morning is cool. We definitely recommend visiting the water parks at Disney as these are a couple of our sons favorite places to visit.
