We booked the dessert party for our last day at Disney. The location was spectacular. It was not that crowded but it had been overcast that day. The desserts were good, though I don't think we ate 25 dollars worth per person. We had very good tables. However, the air was very heavy and foggy and it was drizzling. When the fireworks started, you couldn't even see the castle. So we heard the fireworks but did not get to see them. OVerall an ok experience. I may try again if weather is good. Otherwise, I am just as content at finding a spot and eating an ice cream. We did not have the issues of people crowding the rails, as it was cold and windy. But then again you couldn't see anything either.

We decided to schedule this tour as one of our sons was only 12 and unable to go on the dolphin experience. He is interested in oceanography. We met at EPCOT near the package pickup and signed in. There is a sign where to meet but we didn't see it initially. We were signed in by the staff and instructions were given. We were sized for the wet suits and after introductions, our tour began. We went behind the scenes and learned about the programs. Then we were led to changing rooms where we were provided with wetsuits and lockers. We were then instructed on the use of SCUBA tanks. You are not allowed to dive under the surface. Once we were in the water, we were allowed access to most areas of the tanks. You were able to see the schools of fish as well as rays, sharks, and turtles. If you got tired, you just rolled onto your back and took a break. We had plenty of time to swim and the staff was present to help at all junctures. It was a great experience and my son thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We did not get a t-shirt but a string pack; I would recommend the experience to all. It definetly exceeded our family's expectations. Great job to all for a wonderful experience

knowledge/friendliness of staff; swimming in tank;Cons:

Have tried Tutto Gusto during the day and at dinner time recently. Loved the small plates concept -- makes this the perfect spot for lingering over a glass or two of wine while nibbling on some savory treats. Loved the mozzarella and tomato panini! In the evening, I was pleasantly surprised to find them offering an abbreviated menu from Tutto Italia next door, in addition to their usual tapas-style dishes. The intimate atmosphere and congenial Italian waitstaff makes this feel like a very authentic experience. I will definitely be going back.

Tried Spice Road Table last week and found it to be a refreshing change of pace. Great table overlooking World Showcase lagoon; can imagine it will be really pretty at night. We had an excellent server, who was attentive without being overbearing. Food was all well-prepared and portions were sized just right for sharing. Really enjoyed the lamb slider and the merguez sausage. The skewers were great, too. Tried the various baklavas and the saffron lemon custard for desserts -- loved them all. Found the custard to be quite similar to a creme brulee, in fact. Would definitely dine here again.

Great waterside location; outstanding service; unique menu itemsCons:

The only reason I would recommend this restaurant is because we found it to be the only counter service at the Contemporary (which based on the size of the hotel, this place is much smaller than food courts at budget and moderates). We found the menu to be very limited (especially for the two picky eaters we had in our group). The food was nothing special and you had only a small offering from which to choose. They had a very small bakery section (one small case), but the cupcakes were delicious.
I agree with earlier posts.....the ordering system is unusual. You select from a kiosk, but then have to check out at the register and take your receipt back to the ordering station and wait for your food.

We ate there twice for breakfast during our December trip. It is one of the few places in AK that you can find breakfast items. They offer oatmeal, french toast platter and a breakfast platter. (there are probably other offerings, but those are what we picked on both trips). At 9:30 a. m. the restaurant was almost deserted. The food was good and we were in and out in a jiffy.
Pros:
serves breakfast, relatively good foodCons:

During our trip in December, my daughter and I ate there first. The guys in our group were not interested. We had a short wait in line. Loved the kiosks and the fact we were seated and served so quickly. We both had the French onion soup and turkey sandwich. For dessert we shared a cup cake and eclair. The soup was actually one of the best we have had. The turkey sandwich was delicious....it had a generous amount of freshly carved turkey. Both desserts were delicious. There are three dining rooms and we picked the West Wing. We loved the atmosphere. We raved so much about our lunch (the best counter service in Disney), that the guys joined us the next day. We picked the main dining room with the Christmas tree. The guys ordered the beef and again, the French onion soup. They had the same impression as we did. It is now one of "musts". My husband and I are going back alone in a few months and he has already said to put Be our Guest on our list!

In the past we have always been very pleased with Boulangerie Patisserie, but on our recent visit we found the food to be less than expected. I ordered the Ham and Cheese Croissant and found it to be very tough. I also had the caramel cream and chocolate mousse and it was only fair and nothing to write home about.

We were here on 1-31 and we were celebrating my birthday and our GDs. Our Gd got to open the restaurant and she loved the special attention and extra interaction with Mary Poppins. Who escorted us to our table. We have done dinner here but this was our first time for breakfast and the food was just as yummy. I loved the strawberry soup. The serves was great. They gave us long stem red roses for our birthday and outr GD got an extra rose and special signed placemat and tinkerbell light clip for opening the restaurant. The CM also gave us a set fo 4 signed placemats for her birthday. Since Mary Poppins has always been my favorite and we don't see her often this was special. We will will be back not only for the yummy food but for the great service.
