I absolutely love this place! This is a must visit every time we are at Hollywood Studios. The atmosphere is excellent and is a great way to relax and get out of the sun. The milkshakes are the best and you get so much food. We have seen the cartoons and promos they show so much (it hasn't changed in over 20 years) that we have it memorized and look forward to it every visit.

Pros:

Milkshakes are awesome! Atmosphere can't be beat. Make reservations in advance and get a car. Cast Members are great and will take pictures of you sitting in the car.

Cons:

I miss when the Cast Members would talk back to the screen sometimes. It was hilarious. I wish they would start doing that again. The tables in the back aren't as good as the cars, but will work if you have to.

Club Level was absolutely wonderful. We were celebrating our anniversary so we decided to do something special this trip. We were greeted at the door and taken up to the lounge where we met with our concierge cast member. He checked us in and made sure we knew about all the offerings in the lounge and that all our reservations were correct. Shortly after entering our room, we received a nice goodie bag with decorated pins for our anniversary and chocolates. Cast Members around the parks commented several times about the glitter decoration on our pins so this was not the normal look. Our room was very nice and the view was wonderful. We greatly enjoyed our stay and all the free snacks and drinks available in the lounge. The best part was having items we purchased in the parks delivered straight to our room.

Pros:

Free snacks, drinks, desserts, and appetizers in the Club Lounge. Souvenirs were delivered to our room instead of having to pick them up during gift shop hours.

Cons:

The turn-down service was nice but at around 9:00pm so it was a bit inconvenient some nights.

We had an amazing experience where we were sitting by the dock one evening after dinner, and the captain of one of the boats told us that the people who has reserved his cruise had cancelled. He offered it to us FOR FREE!! It was a great place to watch the fireworks and is especially nice when you don't have to pay for it.

Pros:

Great view, comfortable seating.

Cons:

Might be expensive if you had to pay.

Most enjoyable, comfortable, accessible resort!

Pros:

Lovely private pool, fabulous Storm-a-long Bay pool, access to numerous restaurants in area all accessible by foot or boat, and leisure walk to Boardwalk for nightly entertainment too!

Cons:

Difficult to book because of its popularity if not your home resort.

My daughter and I stayed here for a long weekend 8/2017 and were able to stay in a refurbished room. If you are looking for a modern touch, then the rooms are perfect. We enjoyed all the USB ports and the large bathroom mirror. The room was the perfect size for the 2 of us, I know our family of 4 (parents and 2 teens) would not be comfortable in here. The grounds were great for taking a walk in the morning, the bus service was punctual, front desk very personable and helpful.

Pros:

price, new rooms

Cons:

rooms fit only 2 comfortably but if this is what you need, then size is perfect

The SciFi Dine-in resturant is my sons favorite resturant. The menu is varied enough that we can all find something that appeals to each of us. Make sure to get a reservation with this one. Always people trying to get in as a walk up. The milk shakes are great.

Pros:

Cool and dark enough to refresh our spirits. Old black and white shorts are entertaining and funny.

Cons:

Cant think of any.

I have stayed here in both regular rooms and in the family suites. These family suites were the first, before the ones in the Art of Animation and they are nearly as nice, but they are less expensive. We had 5 adults in there and it was a tight squeeze at night. When everyone opened their beds, one of us had to end up in the hallway for everyone to fit. However, there were 2 bathrooms, a microwave and a small fridge.

In all of the rooms, the one window looks out onto the walkway, so everyone has to pass by your window as they are coming and going. I want to warn everyone to CLOSE THE DARK CURTAINS if you are in the room at night with the lights on. My sister and I made a game of counting how many nude and semi-nude people we saw each night when returning to our rooms.

Be warned that if you don't pay extra for a preferred room, you can be walking a long way to the food and transportation.

My main complaint is the bus service. These resorts are way out in the direction of Animal Kingdom, so it takes longer than average to get anywhere anyway. But this resort shares buses with the other 2 All Star resorts. So the buses fill-up quickly, are almost always super crowded, and even though you are near the front of the line at the resort, you might get on the first bus that comes along. If you stay here, I would try to travel at non-popular times if it doesn't put too much of a crimp in your vacation.

Pros:

least expensive, family suite

Cons:

bus service is crowded, lack of privacy in rooms
