Started off being taken back for reservation 45 mins late after being told we were on the no show list- stood right on the steps and name was never called. Food is extremely subpar and desserts were horrible. Best thing was interactions with the characters and waiter.

Service was a bit slow. Filet ordered as medium came out as rare. Braised beef was good, the baked macaroni was a bit dry.

My family, and extended family, party of 8, stayed the week of November 5th to 9th- 3 rooms- all were together and 2 were connecting- 3 floor, building 1- preferred rooms. We were very happy with our rooms- building, and floor. They were clean and well maintained. The pools were nice- we used both during our stay. The pools were great after a hot day at the parks. Unfortunately, the only complaint my bunch had was about the food. The dinner options are horrible, and such small portions. When you purchase the dining plan, as we always do, you expect better selections. We usually stay in Port Orleans Riverside and haven't stayed in ASM- for several years. The last time we stayed... the food options included the carved turkey, London broil, pot roast, mashed potatoes, steamed veggies. What happened to the "good" food- as my Dad says. The food menu- during our week- seared chicken breasts- same sides, mahi-mahi- same side, something else.. I can't remember- and the only specialty options were - seafood pasta dish- very good- just not a lot on your plate- pork chop, chicken pot pie bowl- which was awful. We ended up- starving after our meals- and going to Disney Springs.. to eat. I'm a Florida resident pass holder and we go often- and like to stay at different resorts, and ASM used to be our favorite of the Value Resorts. All in all- we had a great time.. just disappointed with the food options- considering what the past options used to be. On another note, the bus waits weren't too bad.... we only had to stand- one time going to Epcot... other times, we actually got seats- All in all, ASM is a great resort... as the old saying goes "you get what you pay for"- Value...
Pros:
Nice Value resort- especially if you're going to the parks all day. Pools are nice- areas well maintained and clean. Good breakfast food- large portions- especially the bounty platter... Waffles are always good-Cons:
Food court- dinner options not so good- Buses not running on regular schedule. At one point, we saw 4 buses go by us- for Animal Kingdom while we were waiting in line for Epcot and the line was empty- because the first 2 buses picked up everyone.... I'm rating ASM a 7- only because of the food choices.. everything else was good.Review of DiveQuest - Epcot

First- this was FUN! Both of my kids (ages 11 & 15) were comfortable even though this was their first salt water experience. Because my son has a junior OW cert, he is limited to 40’ but the tank is well within that at 26’. The equipment is well above par for “rental” type gear and they do size you up well. My daughter (15) is a casual diver- only 1-3 dives a year since certification but she looked extremely comfortable. I noticed MANY inexperienced divers in our group but everyone was able to follow the instructions and enjoy themselves. Here you’ll see more marine life than on almost any actual dive and it gives the added benefit of allowing family members (who don’t dive) the opportunity to have a glimpse of what we divers do.
I had only two minor issues... the website and the booking agent were adamant about nothing allowed other than a prescription mask. They were allowing ANY personal mask as well as a dive computer (which would’ve been nice). Also, the DVD (purchased extra afterwards) comes in a USB chip so you’ll need an adapter for your computer or pay a photoshop to transfer it to a more usable firm of media.
Overall it was a fantastic experience.

Safe, comfortable, simple and TOTALLY FUN!!!Cons:

My husband and I were on the DestiNations Discovered tour on 11/16. We also went on the Wild Africa Trek at Animal Kingdom and Keys to the Kingdom at Magic Kingdom on this trip. While the other tours were both awesome, DestiNations Discovered was really a let down. (1) The tour starts at 8:15am and well, it is just REALLY early and added a lot of stress to our vacation. (2) Most of the fun facts / information provided by our tour guide are well known secrets. I can literally learn more from the internet than from her. (3) The tour was too slow-paced. It is a 5 hour tour including a lunch at Rose & Crown; given the fact that there really wasn't too much to talk about, this tour should be a 2.5 hour tour at most and should NOT include the lunch; this way we could eat whatever we want at Epcot (there are SO many choices) and the cost could come down quite a bit. (4) The lunch at Rose & Crown took forever. We preordered our lunch when we checked in at 8:15am, and we could only choose an entree and a drink (soft drink or water) because the appetizer and dessert were already predetermined. We were seated at 11:45, and our drinks and appetizer were not served for a LONG time, and then the entree did not arrive at our tables until 12:36. I really do not see what the point of preordering was. The entire lunch took at least 1.5 hours and it was a complete waste of time. With that said, the fish (I had fish and chips) was really really good though - it was definitely the highlight of the entire tour. In short, I would NOT recommend this tour.

We have gone to MVMCP several times and found it to be outstanding, crowds where low and all the entertainment was exceptional this year on 11/15/18 we went and was very disappointed in the crowds, it was extremely crowded, couldn't get near the complementary snacks and the rides all had long lines, when I asked a cast member they indicated that the ticket sales is not just limited to a certain amount of people its now open to whomever buys a ticket. Seems to be very greedy now, Walt would have never wanted this.
