It was a blast. Slinky Dog is a great ride and the characters were very cool.
Pros:
Short lines for the rides and at least initially for the characters. Breakfast was pretty good too.Cons:
The closer to the end the lines for characters got too long.Reviewed by Melanie M Review Date: 02/06/2019

Very pretty scaled back version of the lodge but with few amenities. No quick serve for those coming in late, gotta stop at Jambo House. This is a VERY quiet resort....no drink refills til they open at 7 am and there is little to no movement until then! Our room was literally .25 miles from the drink refill station/lobby. That’s a bit of a hike since it is so sprawled out.
Pros:
Quiet, beautiful, nice pool Area especially for kidsCons:
Lack of amenities for food and distance from end to lobby can be dauntingReviewed by Melanie M Review Date: 02/06/2019

As an animal lover this is my favorite resort on property...the atmosphere is great, you can see the animals much better at the resort, although it doesn’t have the same variety as the park.
Pros:
Atmosphere, animals...BomaCons:
Noisy pool, not adult friendly at all, very loud pool party for the kids every day that is overwhelming even from the room!Review of Pandora -- the World of Avatar

Amazing....flight of Passage is unbelievable...Naavi is ok but pales in comparison. The entire place is so well done from the ground up. Even the food and drink has its own vibe. Love it! Best on property!!!

Overall love it...second time we’ve tried the nachos though and they are awful so stick with the pretzel...that is a great appetizer! Fairly decent amount of food as well.

We ate here on 01/25/19 for lunch. It was delicious! There was a line out the door, but it moved very quickly and there was a staff member to assist. He was delightful and talked with us about what we should try, all the staff members were very friendly and helpful. We got two sandwiches and a kid's tender meal. Everything was superb. The donkey and special sauce were great together. The mac n cheese was good also, maybe could have used a little salt. This place is also very reasonably priced and has huge portions. This is a must try!

We recently ate here, and although the food consistently tastes good, the portion sizes have decreased drastically. Our lobster roll was on a hot dog bun, and was tiny for the price. In the past, it has been on a hoagie sized bun. It was not worth $16. They also didn't give us any hush-puppies and only a couple shrimps for the trio platters. I went and asked for more, which they gave me, begrudgingly. The best part of the meal was the peach cobbler, which is very delicious and the hush-puppies, which have corn inside them!

We were excited to eat at Crystal Palace, even though my husband had warned against it. Sadly, he was correct. We ended up getting our money back the lunch was such poor quality. The cooked carrots were hard as a rock. The rolls were the same. Entrees were just so-so. Best part of meal was the desserts.
Pros:
Has the Winnie the Pooh characters.Cons:
FOOD is not good. A lot of money for a very poor quality meal. Also sometimes the characters skip your table as happened in our case. Chalk this up to an issue with their assistant, but we had to get a manager to intervene, which took an additional 15 minutes waiting up front on our way out the door.Review of Jiko - The Cooking Place - Jambo House

I struggled with this rating. The food at Jiko was outside, with flavors both subtle and exotic. I would put it on par with he California Grill.
The problem is the portions. I'm used to a Disney mode, where the portions are very generous. I've been to Jiko before, and it fit that mode. On this visit, it was more California cuisine, with immense plates and tiny little portions placed "artistically" on the plate.
Somewhere in the middle would probably be good. As it is, with the very high price of dining here, I don't think I got a good value.
