This is truly one of the BEST meet/greet opportunities at WDW. Merida is fun and interactive, she draws everyone in to the fun. The entire area is interactive, to keep kids busy during the long wait. But it's worth it.

I was unable to book a reservation for lunch at my 180 day. But, I was able to book one a week from arrival day. It was a short wait to order lunch. The food arrived after a short wait and was hot. I did like getting my own drinks and was able to go back for refills. Refills makes it really nice.

Motion sickness-- I ride this ONCE each trip. My husband and daughter will ride 3 times in a row. If you have motion sickness, it's a tough ride. Be prepared.I have heard people say there is a motionless option, but I've never encountered that myself while there. Maybe I'll ask this summer when we return.Review of Slinky Dog Dash

I took my mom (age 77) and my uncle (age 81) to DHS and the first thing we did was line up for Slinky Dog. None of us had ever been on it but I heard really good things about it. My mom is a little afraid of roller coasters but I assured her this would be fun, not terrifying. And that's exactly what it was...thrilling but not scary. We talked about that ride for months afterward. It was definitely the highlight of our 4 day trip.
Pros:
Smooth, fun ride. Love the Toy Story theme.Cons:

I love the music and it is in the dark. It goes from 0 to 60 and the loops and corkscrews are amazing!

This was a fun show-- more fun than I expected. The sing along aspect will appeal to little kids, but the jokes are for the parents. We really enjoyed it-- and my daughter was never caught up in the Frozen frenzy-- she was a little too old at the time it came out. That didn't stop either of us from belting out let it go!

This is a nice, relaxing ride on a boat with funny skippers. My family enjoys this ride for the corny jokes. We know all the turns and all the scenes, but the skippers can make it a new ride with their jokes. We always come off the boat with a big smile.

Big Thunder is a great start for a vacation and for beginners on riding roller coasters. It doesn't have big drops, but goes fast enough to get your blood flowing. My child started on this ride when she was 6, and has loved it every since.

We have been to Chef Mickey's Breakfast many times but this year we tried the Dinner with a party of 15. The food selection was great and everyone enjoyed the character interaction. Our server was excellent. He continually checked our tables to refill drinks and remove empty plates. He also made sure that one of the characters that had skipped our tables came back for the kids.
