Review of Tutto Italia Restaurant - Italy

We always try to eat somewhere we have not yet tried, and this trip, we decided to try Tutto Italia. The staff was very pleasant and attentive, without being overbearing. I had the lobster ravioli, which was pretty good. It wasn't anything amazing either, but I enjoyed it. My husband had an eggplant dish, and he enjoyed that. We opted for the salad instead of a dessert since we were on the dining plan, and the salad was very good. It was definitely a one time place, I don't feel a need to go back, but I am glad we tried it.

We had been here on a previous trip and enjoyed it, so we decided at the last minute to go here again. Unfortunately we did not have a good experience, and probably will not be back. Our hostess was very nice and we were seated by a window with a lake view, and the first round of food was brought out quickly. The salad was the best tasting food of our meal. Those were the positives...The steak tasted more like beef jerky, it was quite a while before we saw any other meat (or anybody...). When we declined more meat (since we had sat there for a while filling up on salad and noodles, and now were full), we got a weird attitude like we were crazy for turning down the food! (the whole thing was really strange!) We are not picky eaters, but it was not an enjoyable meal. Even the wait staff seemed grumpy with each other. I will chalk it up to an "off" night, but with so many other options to choose from, we won't be back.

We just returned from a week stay in a one bedroom villa, and loved this resort-it is our now officially our favorite. We had a lake view (rm 7910), but could see the fireworks from MK easily. The common living space seemed to have more room that other 1 bdrm villas we have stayed in, and we loved having the extra bathroom for our teenage daughter. The staff was helpful and friendly- even when our TV stopped working, it was replaced within 1/2 a hour. There is a little wear and tear showing, but nothing that would prevent me from staying here again. I liked the toned down \"Disney theme\", and found the decor relaxing.
Pros:
Proximity to MK, loved the room, view was awesome.Cons:

Via Napoli is one of my favorite dining locations at Walt Disney World Resort! My family and I always look forward to ending a day at Epcot with one of Via Napoli's fresh pizzas, which are reasonably priced. Some can cost upwards of $40, but the large size of each pizza makes them easy to share, splitting the cost up across the entire party.
The place can be noisy, but it reminds me a lot of a loud dinner with my Italian family. The restaurant is also very open, which likely contributes to the noise.
Patio seating is also available, which can negate the noisy atmosphere.
Overall, I would recommend this to any Epcot-goer. The pizzas are great, prices aren't bad, and the service leaves nothing to be desired.
Pros:
Great food, prices, and serviceCons:

The Disney quick service is normally free if you book at a certain time. You get two main meals and 2 snacks a day which I thought would be great, however the food was terrible. There was only one place I liked called Bongos at Disney Springs (Cuban food) and the rest was awful. We ate at our hotel (Coronado springs) and all of the other parks (Epcot, Magic kingdom, Hollywood studios and animal kingdom) even food that was raved about online wasn’t good enough. The portion sizes were normally too small, too salty and with no vegetables. Basically you’re eating fast food everyday.

We ate here December 2018. My daughter got the grilled cheese sandwich and a coke. I got the turkey sandwich. Our food was terrible. I don't know how you can mess up these easy meals but they did. The turkey was tough that I couldn't chew it. It wasn't fit for a dog to eat. Then since they won't give out lids on the drinks, a gentleman accidentally bumped into me and spilled some of our drink on our tray. But to make matters worse, while I was waiting in line my daughter had to hover over a table to wait for a seat. The lady told her she could have it in a few minutes. When the lady got up to leave a family rushed in beside us and sat down!!! They need more seating and umbrella's at this restaurant. We basically spent 20 minutes holding our tray begging for a table! I will never be back to this place again.

Ate here with my DH in late March. had always wanted to try it out, but was disappointed when we finally did. The place is crowded and noisy, albeit beautiful. We were seating in the coveted Rose Room, which was so dark we could not see the menu and had to pull out our phones' flashlight function. It was dark and noisy all night, and we did not find the effect of a gathering storm with occasional loud rumbles of thunder romantic in the least. Also, if it is supposed to be the room for the romantic dinners, why were so many small children seating in that room, making a lot of racket in most cases and staring at screens in other cases? Our waiter was very sweet and helpful. The food? Pretty good but not worth the trouble. Our appetizers (french onion soup and octopus) were wonderful. Entrees were okay--- we had the lamb and the filet mignon. Both were serviceable but not spectacular. Still, given the size of the place and the location inside Magic Kingdom, it was better than I had expected. The desserts, however, were just so-so. Everyone gushes about the "gray stuff" but while the presentation was cute, the dessert itself was bland. The little trio of desserts were a let-down. I'd have preferred to be able to order my preference and get a larger serving. The champagne was a little unusual and quite wonderful. It was disconcerting to have so many people wander past our table to see the Rose on display in our area. The tables are very small and too close together.
Pros:
good food for a theme park restaurant, lovely decor, appearance of the Beast.Cons:

We tried Skipper Canteen for the second time on May 18th. Our first experience was hit and miss, so we wanted to give them another chance, but unfortunately, this time was even less successful. Our party was seated quickly, and they let us come in even though we were a half hour early for our reservation. The theme is fun, the decor and the corny jokes works as a connection to the Jungle Cruise. I appreciate that there's space to breathe, as the tables are not crammed together, and that the noise level is manageable. But right off the bat, small things bugged-- for example, I am a cancer patient using a mobility scooter, which I had to leave a small distance away from the entrance to the restaurant, even though last time I was able to park it much closer. I understand that they have to do something because of the many scooters and wheelchairs being used these days, so I was okay with that, but then they seated us in the furthest room of the restaurant, with only one table further back then the one where they seated us. We passed dozens of empty tables (it was not yet 5 pm) and my husband asked if our party could be seated there so I did not have to struggle to walk so far. The hostess walking us back just made a joke and kept us moving. Our server did the usual corny joke patter, which is fun, but was terribly inattentive. water glasses were not refilled, I could not get her attention to replace a dropped napkin, and we were never offered a dessert menu although I was really looking forward to dessert.
Our meals were not ample or high quality enough for the prices they command. There was no bread offered. When my DH ordered salad, he was told the dressing was "a bit spicy" and was asked if that would be okay (no mention os what would happen if it were not okay, btw). He said it would be fine but the dressing was made with extremely hot aji peppers and left quite a long aftertaste of pure heat (I sampled it at his request, as did another member of our party of 4). That should be an alternative, not the main dressing. I'm also not crazy about the current fascination with wedge salads at WDW, but the salad was deemed adequate. His soup, a coconut curry, was odd but enjoyable. My steak was cooked properly medium rare, but had some gristle. The accompaniments left a lot of be desired-- the flavor of the chorizo was a bit overpowering and it was mainly beans and sausage, with only a smathering of veggies and the reduction sauce that was said to be included as well. A nice roll or piece of bread would have been appreciated. Another in our party had the steak as well and he enjoyed it. The fourth in the party had the lamb chops, which consisted of two tiny chops. She said they were good, but it would have been nice to have third since they were so small. Again, more of the accompaniments would have been appreciated. Our waitress, who had been cracking jokes when she explained the menu, was not personable at all throughout the meal and simply dumped the check without offering dessert, which we would have ordered. Oh, and the tea is terrible. It's bad enough that Disney doesn't offer sweet tea, but the unsweetened tea is awful.
Pros:
nice decor and plenty of spaceCons:
lackluster and inattentive service, uneven food that was too expensive for what you get (and I am used to paying a lot at Disney, which is fine when the flavor and quality merit the price).Reviewed by EleanorofAquitaine Review Date: 05/21/2019

We stayed on the 14th floor club level in late March to celebrate the end of my radiation treatments. It was wonderful. A wonderful CM managed to get us a reservation at Be Our Guest to celebrate. The staff could not have been more wonderful and attentive, even arranging to bring up my mobility scooter from the first floor so I wouldn't have to go back down and get it myself. Our room was not ready on arrival, but hanging out in the lounge we enjoyed the marvelous view and the snacks. Our whole stay was filled with little thoughtful touches in true Disney magic fashion. Our suite was spacious and lovely. The view is great, although the angle makes the view of the fireworks less than optimal. It was great to stay on the one floor of that hotel where I would feel comfortable--- I'm afraid of heights and could never imagine walking to my room in the open atrium of the lower floors. The fourteenth floor is not open like that, so I was completely comfortable. The snacks were not as nice as at some of the other club levels where we have stayed, but they were adequate. And if you asked nicely, they would give you bottled water to take with you instead of just providing water in cups. It was great to have so few people to share the lounge with, as there are not as many rooms on that floor as the lower floors, because they are all suites. There was another lounge on the lower club floor, and my fave CM invited me to drop by to visit her down there. I would definitely chose the 14th floor in the future, however, for the quiet and the space. There were fewer noisy children running to and fro in the lounge, a definitely plus.

I thought this was a buffet. It turned out to be family style. Definitely not worth the money for the food. Characters came around a lot That was the only plus.
