Although we love the Contemporary and always stay there, I was a little disappointed last week that my room wasn't quite as clean as I've experienced in the past. There was a smudge of something sticky on the underside of the glass desk that was there when we arrived and still there when we left. It won't stop me from staying there -- it's my favorite! I'm sure if I'd mentioned it, the whole room would have had a thorough cleaning ...

Terrible is a generous rating. The $ 22.00 enchiladas were drown in red Chile paste. They advertised that they were chicken enchiladas but all I could find were beans. All you could taste was the Chile paste. As a rule I don't write restaurant reviews, but people need to be warned about this place, go some place else. This food will ruin your Disney experience.

We went as a family of three to our first MNSSHP at the end of October 2018 and had a blast! We had so much fun we convinced our larger group of "every two years" travelers to go to the party this year. While I wouldn't say it was terrible, it also wasn't great. My whole goal for this party was to trick-or-treat, get some Magic photos, see the parade, fireworks, and some shows. In that respect, we succeeded. However, it was very crowded compared to last year (and the party on 10/29 was not sold out). The whole concept of "wait for the second parade because the party clears out" did NOT apply. Although I still had fun because I didn't ever expect to accomplish *everything* the party offers, I hope Disney gets the message about how unhappy the party guests were this year.

It's a Disney Halloween!!Cons:

We rode the Skyliner on October 31 just to ride it. It was great! I can see the hub where all three lines meet being a new "I'm at Disney!" memory for a lot of people. We rode it in the middle of the day from Epcot to the hub, and then got right back on to go back to Epcot. My husband and son rode the morning of 10/30 all the way to Hollywood Studios and said he's never taking the bus there again. Both times there was no line, it was a smooth ride, and yes, the windows DO provide marvelous ventilation -- despite it being late October, we had temperatures in the mid '90s with high humidity and a heat index over 100. It was very comfortable in the gondolas while they were moving, but it does become a little cloying in there when they slow down in the stations. My only complaint, sadly, is about the wraps. I suffer from terrible motion sickness and found that looking through the wraps made it so much worse. If I looked through the clear doors to the side, I was fine. If I looked through the wrap in the front of the car I got a little nauseated. The wraps are really fun to see though!

My family and I had such high expectations for this event? We expected an exclusive event with limited ticket sales and reduced crowds, we expected fancy treats for our trick or treating experience, we expected to actually be able to trick or treat without being herded into narrow hallways like cattle, we expected to be able to see the parade & enjoy meeting some characters, viewing decorations and getting on some rides. Instead, we trick or treated maybe 4 locations to receive handfuls of skittles/M&M’s/twix/snickers at each one. Trying to get to the treats was awful and depressing with 100’s of people squeezing through hallways. We didn’t even want the treats(could’ve bought a box of this candy anyway, nothing unique about it) saw a few characters but couldn’t meet them as the line ups were so long we wouldn’t be able to manage with 4 Children. Got on 1 ride only and the line up was so long and congested that nobody wanted to get on any more. Went to see the parade but the crowd was so large we couldn’t find a place to actually get a view of it. The crowds were actually the worst I’ve ever seen any park ever, & the lines longest that I’ve ever seen. We left after the parade and didn’t even stay for fireworks with my kids saying it was the worst part of their vacation. They are completely turned off by Disney and don’t even want to return for our base ticket plans, & neither do I. Awful awful awful, this will be my last Disney vacation definitely. Overpriced waste of my time and money.

My family attended the October 27th 2019 MNSSHP for the 1st time and I can guarantee that it will be our last. At a cost of $360 for a family of 4, mind you one is an infant and is free, I do not feel like we received our money’s worth. I have never seen the park so crowded! It was shoulder to shoulder with people climbing over strollers in order to try to get a better view of the stage in front of the castle. We spent 2 hours to experience a rained out show, one trick or treat line and one character meet and greet. We ended up leaving before the parade and fireworks because the crowds were out of control. Cast members were asking to see wrist bands, however; it was so dark and there were so many people there is absolutely no way that they could verify if people actually had a wrist band for the party. You could have very easily stayed inside the park to watch the shows and parade if you chose to do so. Never again!

Rode the Falcon on my most recent trip, last week, and it was AMAZING. The new Star Wars Land is super immersive, and leaves no detail out. The ride itself is awesome, with different things happening depending on what your crew does. Oh and SINGLE RIDER LINE! I just about walked on the first time I went on, and only waited maybe 10-15 min tops. Disney is finally listening, and rightfully so. E ticket rides like this should NEVER be run with empty seats.

Ate here on the first night of my most recent WDW visit, and was just as good as ever. Had no reservation, but went right when they reopened for dinner at 5PM, and was seated right away. Had the impossible burger and a sidecar, and was very pleased. If you've never had an impossible burger, you simply must try it, as it's scary how meat-like it is. Drink was great, strong, and a fraction of the price of the exact same one as at the new (and disappointing) enchanted rose bar. Service was great. Even though prices are reasonable, they also have a DVC discount which helps. GF Cafe remains a must-do on every trip.
